Until the day anybody would give me one tangible benefit of marriage to a man, I'll continue to see that institution as a scam against the menfolk.

Having children within a two-parent household is the major benefit. Another benefit could be or is companionship.

Those are not tangible reasons. I believe that children can be properly raised by one parent provided that resources are there.
Also, most men don't find ideal companionship in women! Any honest married man would tell you that he doesn't even have time to start doing companionship with his wife when he's busy working his butt off to pay bills.

Men get the best companionships in beer parlours with fellow men or in different social clubs or fraternities to which they belong.

Well, judging from studies conducted globally by different researchers, that is not true. The best environment to raise children is in a two-parent household consisting of a father (man) and a mother (woman). If you believe otherwise, conduct your scientific/social science study and publish the results in a peer-reviewed journal.

P.S. In most developed societies where government interventions and subsidies exist, most poor people are those from single-parent homes. Then imagine the same in poor countries? Multidimensional poverty loading....
