Hi all, please I'm trying to apply for a visit visa for my dad, his organization is sponsoring and they have provided him with mybankstatement, bank reference letter and letter of introduction as documents for proof of funds, but my concern is the amount they are providing is not stated on any of the letters, it just states they are sponsoring him, please can this fly? Also is 5000cad sufficient for a week? Because that's how long I put he will be spending in Canada @Emmafe and other seniors in the house 🙏
5k is okay for a week. It would have bn better if the amount is stated on the sponsorship letter.

If the consent form look like the one I attached with this message I think you will put your children name on it unless they are under 18years Parent/Guardian should sign for them.

Spouse of PR holder that have the intention of flagpoling at the border for work permit should abort mission. You cannot flagpole at the border if your spouse is a PR. You can only apply online
What i faced today at the border points of entry, was a tough one. The officer asked me alot of questions, from my return ticket to what i do in Nigeria and how much i earn. I regretted ever going. at the end of the whole question he asked me to go apply online.
My only grace is that my return ticket date is still valid because I really don’t know what would have happened.
As God will have it, i got an update on my PR application today after 3months of silence.

Read up how to find Canadian CV on line and start submitting applications for jobs etc. Try to also see if you have family , use their Canadian address and telephone number while you prepare to them in due course.

You pay visa fee together with biometrics before submitting your application online. Then a day after submission, you’ll get a biometrics letter which you’ll print and also book your biometrics capturing and that of your household on VFS website.

The last mail I got is Your application, tracking ID No. **** has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC on Wed Jul 26 2023 and is in transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC for processing.
My travel date is next week as the summer school I am to attend starts 12th.

I am almost in the same shoe o. My mom's port was sent since on the 11th. The last message though is on the Monday 31st that the port is under processing in ircc office. It's more than 3weeks already and they haven't stamped the port. It's really frustrating. Please let me know what worked for you because I am beginning to think my mom should email them.

My sister got an email confirming her port is available for collection in Lagos VFS today but when she logs in on the old portal, it still shows the message for her to submit her port for stamping. Is this not supposed to change for visit visa? There is no indication on her IRCC platform that her port was received and stamped for the visit visa. Please advise if you have experienced. Thanks

Hmmm same ere , I went to blue water bridge but I was unable to , for those in case like this you just have to apply online and remain on implied status or better still apply for extension

Sorry you will need to used your phone iphone preferable to the file first and transfer it to your laptop, make sure your laptop already installed with Adobe Acrobat then right click and open with Adobe.

A friend went there and saw himself on a flight to Nigeria.
Another was lucky. He had a revoked American visa but didn't carry the port with the revoked visa. He almost saw himself in Nigeria as well.
