How do you people enjoy indian foods? I have a phobia due to the Instagram videos I watched on how they prepare their meals. Very unhygienic I must say. Fear of coming down with diarrhoea Exodus15v11: |

Few days back, I was craving cake so bad. I checked my baking container, saw some ingredients and ended up making this Lemon Cake topped with buttercream frosting, chocolate shavings and cherry. I washed it down with the NutriC drink 30 Likes 3 Shares |

amorprincesa:Oi, mate, really there's nowt wrong with Indian foods, they're proper tasty and spicy, just like any other grub out there. It all depends on who's munching it, innit? Maybe you don't fancy it because you're not used to it, or you've got a dodgy tummy. I understand you've got a bit of a phobia after watching a video of some bloke(tte) cooking in a filthy kitchen. But that was just one nutter, not all Indians are like that. There are loads of videos online that show you how to make Indian dishes in a clean and hygienic way that suits your palate. Why don't you give them a gander and see for yourself? And don't be funny, Indian foods don't/won't give you diarrhea. That's a load of bollocks. You can get it from bacterial infection, not from scoffing down some naan bread, chicken biryani. So don't judge or generalise, alright? Indian foods are just as good as any other foods, and they're part of the rich and diverse culture of the country. How about you give them a try. You might even like them, you never know. 13 Likes 1 Share |

amorprincesa:Actually, we eat modified Indian foods in Nigeria without knowing eg chicken curry. Biryani is on another level. As a matter of fact, it's the most popular dish in this world. Yep. I love our jollof rice but prefer chicken biryani. I posted one here. The spices and herbs are on a class of its own. You want to enjoy Indian food, start introducing yourself to their spices and herbs gradually. They don't use Maggi or knorr. We eat cassava flakes( abacha), Indians make it too but different way and it's damn sweet. Chinese and Indian cuisine are very similar to what we eat. We have a lot in common. Samosa is a goal. One thing I love about these countries is they promote their food( culture). 19 Likes 2 Shares |

descarado: What I like about Indian cuisine is their use of natural spices and how they build their flavour. I kinda like their style of cooking. Most of their street foods are not it though. ![]() Looks so unappealing. |
