Ceteris Paribus, if the price of fuel after subsidy removal rose to to 600/L from 200/L, it is only right for the minimum wage increase by 3times from 30,000 to 90,000+.
Lol

Do you know states like taraba have not even been paying the 30k minimum wage? How many states in Nigeria can pay 90k minimum wage? 😄 A lot of Nigerians like you are not ready to face reality.

how much is the minimum wage of UK, US and even Ghana? Is your naira more valuable than the dollar, pound and cedi?

Increasing minimum wage at this time will spell doom for the economy, to increase the minimum wage, the FG has to do a 300% increase in salary of workers i.e a cleaner in the civil service will now be getting around N100,000 as salary!

Money effectively lose value, too much money in circulation and since subsidies on petrol has been removed, the price of petrol will continue to go upward so that means continuous increase in minimum wage. In a few years time the minimum wage will rise to maybe N500,000. A loaf of bread might go for N10,000.

Fossil fuels contributes greatly to global warming and the global economy is shifting to clean, renewable energy sources so if you must use fuel to power your cars, gens, etc... then be prepared to pay a hefty price for it.

Minimum wage should be increased by 100% to control inflation.

Low IQ na follow come and it must always show so i am not suprised by your gibberish ..Well I hope you know the US is a 23 trillion dollar economy and Nigeria is a just a 400 billion dollar and so there now way we can match their minimum wage except our production goes up by many fold which can't happen for now, any thing to push up minimum wage to 100k a month will only lead to inflation that will rapid erode any fantasy of yours .

When people that are far smarter than you are speak try to keep quiet and learn , I am sure you were among those that celebrated Emeifele when he hid that Naira because your low IQ told you as usual that it will prevent vote buying 😄😄😄. Abeg gerrat I hard have time for Low IQed folks

Trash, the only solution is Tinubu should open all the food borders , and then subsidize food by giving the farmers free fertilizers , seedlings and cheap transport for moving farm products. This is the best solution for now

If it reaches 800, it's a good thing. It's time for Nigerians to switch from PMs to gas. Change is constant.
We have more gas in Nigeria than PMS. and we can refine those gas in Nigeria here. And it's a lot cheaper.

No time for protests, I have never voted, never protested against anyone or anything, never been a follower or fan or er of any one.

My advice to you is don't be a follower, be a leader and stay off the next man's nut!

if you can afford to buy a car, you should also afford to convert your car to gas or you keep buying fuel. Or you park your car and use public transport.
Nigerians should stop looking for easy way out all the time.

Omo you too harsh abeg... why so blunt lol

Do you know that 70+ % of Nigerians don't have up to 400k in their ?

Those that have Amongst the 70% are seriously struggling.

So imagine an sme with N1m bank saving
Has to pay her workers 600k monthly
No investment, no other source of income.

By using 500k to convert her car, I trust her business will close down and she will probably shut down and sell her assets.
