Still the same old thing. Robbing the poor to pay the rich. Small 10k will enter your and automatically, N50 is taken away, the bank will charge their own and another tax will still apply on the same 10k. 10k becomes 9800 or less and at the end, it is accumulated and given to thieves in the name of president, governors, local govt. chairmen and what have you. #Sad
I thought it was the banks that charges those money for themselves. So na government. God them

With exchange rate moving from 460 to 800 per dollar I really did not see anything positive here
exchange rate is less than double, the allocation is triple. largely due to subsidy removal sha

Assist you say?

No!

Each State Governors must provide palliatives for their people. This is expected. It’s one of the reasons each state is getting almost x2 of what they previously do receive..
most Nigerians don't know how to hold government able.
That's why the government are riding on their ignorance.

Rivers state government should be held able for not promoting workers for 12 years and non implementation of the 30k minimum wage. This is the height of wickedness and insensitivity. They state had decided to impoverish it's workers.
Are civil servants the only citizens going through pains and hardships? What about those who don't have a job at all or something doing, the low income earners from private sectors nko? What about the artisans who go through hard labor and earn very little? must everything be around civil servants?
These civil servants this civil servants that is becoming too irritating annoying and offensive to the rest of the citizens...

This increase is apparently for 2 main reasons:

1. Oil revenue exchanged at N750 instead of N450
2. No subsidy paid

Subsidy was not deducted before sharing before. Hold your governors very closely. They pay salaries and made budgets and contracts in naira. They are owing some of you months of salary.

This has very little to do with subsidy but more to do with improvements in the crude oil per barrel sold and the change in exchange rates.

After 8 years of unimaginable suffering you people still cued under the sun to vote for APC ?? because of hatred, tribalism & religion

Your bigotry & hatred for Jonathan resulted in Buhari, You never learnt from your mistakes, Buhari’s 1st 4yrs was a total disaster, you still voted him for second tenure

Everyone was waiting for February 2023 to kick APC out, PDP had their best chance with Obi/Kwankwaso Candidacy, … but money politics brought in another Fulani man as presidential candidate, an insensitive decision by a pioneer party like PDP

Obi left and ed LP. and gathered a huge number of followers nationwide, suddenly the hatred & bigotry kicked in again and you fools went under the sun and voted for APC’s continuity..

On Election Day, lives were lost, a nursing mother was stabbed, innocent voters were attacked, property destroyed, ballot boxes stolen, NYSC staff aware intimidated ….Just so that this same party would remain in power..

I use to blame the government, but now I’ve realized that the problem of this country is the people. ………

Why are you blaming Nigerians? You were there on the day of election and you saw what happened. If APC lost in Lagos, plateau, Nasarawa etc and could not get 1/4 of total votes cast in FCT, you should know that Nigerians mean biz on that day. You and I know what happened on that day and stop blaming Nigerians.

Convert the previous months allocation to dollars and convert this one to dollars and you will see that it will be the same thing in dollars term.

Respect for your thinking! Non salary earners are far more in number. Selfishness of civil servants is something else and they're not even productive.

This country is very rich and has no business being poor, considering the fact that a huge chunk of the revenue must have been siphoned to private pockets.

Thats not correct!

NNPCL made fuel cheaper by selling products cheaper than they were bought and therefore incurred losses (termed 'under-recovery' or subsidy) before remitting oil revenue to the govt.

In summary, NNPCL deducted subsidy before remitting oil revenue to govt.

Common man will never see the effect on the economy. Instead of using the money for meaningful development , it will just be share amongst themselves. Wicked rulers.

Imagine! With the audacity to build a road (50km) at a cost of 195 Billion naira. What sort of infrastructure is that at this point in time. What sort of priority is that without having effort to boost human capital, human welfare in the face of glaring poverty everywhere. Things cannot go on like this. The people welfare, salary and pension should take a center stage and a shift away from building unnecessary road for now.
