Till date I have on of the funds, it's not in my portfolio balance nor in my receiving address.

I just got notified by bitpay that I've received funds from dan, i never got any notification from Binance (my receiving address)that any money was sent and my portfolio balance is empty.

This one is scary. I hope your recieving address on Bitpay was not changed. Or maybe it's just the network. Or Maybe it's just from the 4th, 5th and 6th of July rest they had. We shall see.

However, don't use this as a principle because most counter offers end in tears.

My advice would have been for you to have patience. The guy sounds like an unserious buyer (Interested but has doubts). Sometimes, sending them a Godaddy link doesn't do anything. You can request his number and call him. This way, you might still get to use the import lead option for his payment process.
I will really love to know how you handle this and if it was a success!
