U really cant say .......because u cant tell weda the employer has the COS at hand or the employer is just requesting for the batch COS numbers from home office....the latter can take 1- to 3 months especially if the employer doesnt pay for fast track...

But once the employer has recieved the number and decided to sposor u...asg COS to an apllicant is less than 24 hrs

When can one start counting the 18weeks? I was interviewed mid January. And was given an offer letter mid May. Though they hinted that Sponsorship can take up to 18 weeks that mid May. But upto now aside documentations and enhanced check, the HR tells me they are still waiting for the outcome of the sponsorship each time I ask.

How long MAX can the dependants expected to stay outside UK when visa has been granted before ing the MA? I HOPE THERE WONT BE ISSUE AT POE IF THEY HAD VISAS FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS?

Once ur vignette/visa sticker is issued...it will have an expiry date on it...weda u are dependent or main applicant, u must enter the uk before it expires...its not usually more than 3 months .....if it expires u cant enter the uk with it again

Still......u can still enter uk whenever u want as long as main applicant visa is active......its just u will have to reapply for another vignette with 155£ ...if the cost has not changed

Oga....from my comment u should get that there is a wait time for employer to get cos from home office before they can assign it to you.....that wait time is not certain...

home office can delay anybody and nobody can hold them.....u go wait for ur employer to you....

Hello house i am living in the uk with a tier 2 work visa, I submitted an application for my wife and kids on the 31st of May. I did paid call on the 5th of July and I was made known that decision has been made on my wife's application on the 22nd of June but I have not yet received a mail to that effect. But decision has not been made on my kids application yet.

Me and my wife had two boys before we did court marriage and had our daughter after court marriage.

Please can anyone give an Idea why we still haven't got decision on the kids application and why they haven't sent any mail as regards decision already made on my wife's application thank you.

Up to 18 weeks from the time your company applied for CoS allocation from the home office.

So just sit down, relax, pray and hope it comes out early because there is nothing you or your employer can do.

Even if they try to apply for priority, it’s not certain as the home office grants only 60 requests daily.

I believe you have an estimate of the number of companies in the UK that have sponsorship license.

Is this normal for company's to ask for registration fee?

They said they will get back to me in 2 weeks as they are waiting for some documentation from home office...

Ask someone in the UK to call them on your behalf. Possibly go there and them. Someone told me that she called some companies in the UK and they confirmed to her that they now charge for istrative fees.

Please note, my wife works in a big care home in London (operated by whites and not Nigerians).

I will advise someone in the UK inquires independently about the fees on your behalf.

If you read previous pages you will find answers. On your COS If the maintenance is ticked Yes, you wont provide POF. And also for healthcare worker visa , you wont pay IHS with your dependents but if its skilled worker visa you will pay 600Pounds IHS likewise each of your dependents yearly.
