It is for my mum - first time application, fully funded. The only document from her was her port. No statement from her. I am a student (Sept last year)

Documents submitted

1. Employment letter
2. 4 months pay slip
3. BRP (mine and spouse)
4. ports (appplicant's, mine and spouse's)
5. Statements (mine and spouse only)
6. Spouse's HMRC return (He is self-employed)
7. Tickets to and fro (a step of faith)
8. Tenancy agreement
9. Letter of Invitation
10. A letter from my school to confirm my status and intention to invite my mum

Application was done by my hubby. It was after he submitted it I came across this thread. Info here created more fear in my heart. But we kept our fingers crossed.

would you advise I use the paid call option and ask what’s delaying my own visa? Or I should hold on a bit?

Good day everyone,I’m planning to apply for a uk tourist visa this month and a friend suggested that I apply for a Morocco sticker visa before applying for the uk visa cause it’s a virgin port..I unfortunately lost my previous ports with several stamps of Dubai visa,an expired US visa which I used 3 times, expired South African visa .Will the uk visa officer see it as a desperate attempt to get the visa cause I don’t intend going to Morocco before I visit the Uk or should I apply for the Morocco visa n state it in my cover letter for uk that I will be going to Morocco after my holiday in the uk.
Note- I have limited funds.Pls advise

if u have been to Dubai, US and South Africa I suggest u chase up ways to prove your travel history and think less about Moroccan visa for now.

Pls i need a candid advice on what to do on this case pls, an agent helped my children filled thier application and we have submitted and done biometrics and a week later i received a mail that application was not straight forward and i observed that he clicked on the option that do u have any family in the uk? and he clicked no while he is supposed to click yes and i have it as yes on my application can this be a course to be consigned about?
i heard one can be refused and banned for 10 yrs for misrepresentation

Use boarding es and pictures for Dubai with clear explanation if this was a case of a missing expired port (and no copies of visa are available). Also ticket stubs from activities, train etc. could be included.

In the US case, include a printout of your entry and exits from https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home if you travelled with the visa.

I have a friend who tried to get a Canadian student visa, she lied that she was married with children thinking it would boost her chances of getting the visa as well as submitted a doctored bank statement. As a result she was denied the visa and banned for 5years.
Currently she wants to apply for a care visa to the UK, and she will like to come clean about her marital and financial status. Please, can you advise her on what to do. I will be glad if you give me a response. Thank you everyone

First, your friend's story is not really clear. You said she forged and orchestrated lies to her application. She got a ban. 3 capital offences.

Please ask your friend, if this is his/her first application for UK, and be sure your friend has no ban with the UKVI before we can advise.

These are some of the issues and that is why we would prefer your friend coming here to ask questions themselves, so we can guide them.

Maybe, other house may have different view, this is my own thought sha.

Ok thanks,I have a copy of the expired us visa but it has a cancelled without prejudice stamp on it.It was stamped when I tried to renew my visa .

A collection mail was sent to me today from TLS.. So far, no refusal letter from UKVI.

If no refusal mail and a collection mail drops, is it an indication that visa is granted 🤔

That's what I've been made to believe from the previous conversations here. UKVI would send you a rejection letter before sending back the application to the VAC.
