Life gave me lemon, I made both lemonade and lemon cake.

Recipe for Lemonade
* Fresh lemon juice - 1 cup
* Water - 4 1/2 cups
* Sugar - 1 cup
* Fresh ginger - 1 stump, washed & sliced
* Whole cloves - 6
* Lemon grass - 5 leaves
* Cinnamon stick - 1/2 teaspoon
Boil (simmer) the sugar, cloves, cinnamon, lemon grass, ginger and water for about 8 minutes.
Turn off the heat, add in the lemon juice, cover and allow to infuse. Sieve, bottle, drink/refrigerate.

Oh. Most will still survive. I lost 80% of my plants to negligence. I travelled, my neighbors/compound security didn’t help with watering them. All they did was to harvest my super hot habanero fruits.

I will revive them all though. Your turnip looks like radish; I guess it takes a month to harvest

The turnips took 2-3 months
The radishes were supposed to take a month but I put them in too late in the spring so they went to flower that’s why I have radish pods instead of the roots.

You live and learn.

They do something similar in Kogi West. Kidney beans, boiled and fried in palm oil till it turns brown. With seasonings. Then sprinkle dry maize powder to soak up the oil.

They call it Aduun.
