I was called to submit my port (didn't leave it with them at the time of application). After submission, UPS delivered the following day.

My brother make i no lie, I knew obviously that SA experiences winter , i just say woo, no be normal weather wey we dey face for nairobi , cos nairobi also really cold. Wen we arrived OR TAMBO, even on the plane, the cold wey hold me , that night ehn,. Thankfully, i have my warmers here so its cool, I guess the winter wear agbada come this year . cos it is

Everyone having issues ing docs on DHA, I just got a mail from DHA that I can docs now for my appeal and I tried to and it submitted easily.. you can also try it

Try it again now.. had the same issue with an appeal application for a client since 6th.. hacc just responded to me yesterday to go ahead and and it’s submitted successfully now..

It didn’t matter.. it was a server problem I guess.. cos I compressed my pdfs to less than 2MB and it still didn’t go thru.. same pdf with one of almost 5MB still went thru now that the site is active

Hi , please has anyone here experience error with payment on the e-visa site ? A friend filled his application and initiated payment with his usd card but the site said payment failed which he was debited of the sum of $87 from my card . He tried ing card and they said they payment has been processed but VFS has not been saying anything helpful . Only asked that send a web reference number , he doesn’t know what that is and he wasn’t given any web reference number . Please anyone here faced a similar issue with payment and how did you fix the problem ?

Web reference number is the number he was given after he applied

He was trying to fill his application on the southafrica.vfsevisa.com site .
Last stage of the process is payment and that’s where he got debited with the vfs site still saying payment failed.
So the application was not completed, but he got debited $87

He has been trying to vfs again through the email he's been using for the past 4 days but it seems the email is no longer active because he keeps getting an error message/reply. Attached here.

Please, what can he do?

That was why I told you not to stress when your first application was rejected.

SA is quite cold now. So come with winter jackets.
Make sure you keep handy any necessary documents with you. The immigrations at the point of entry here can be quite inquisitive sometimes.

Hello All

My sister SA visitor visa application to visit her husband who is doing a PhD in South Africa was rejected with this reason - Marriage Certificate is not authenticated.

She authenticated it tho at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before submitting it.

Any advice on how to make it better and reapply?

I received an email from VFS that I should submit my port within 2 days. Do I need to book an appointment with VFS or I can just walk into the VFS office and submit my port? I submitted my study application on the 12th of December 2022.

I will appreciate anyone's suggestion.

Congratulations. I don’t think you have to book again, visit and submit. They have scheduled timeframe for you already I guess.
