feelamong: Feelamong which bank or institution yields more interest rate in a fixed deposit. And what is the interest rate on Treasury Bills? |
richforever123: 6:30pm On Jun 22, 2023 |
Dshocker: Fixed Deposit all yield little interest, you should be going for a Mutual Fund or Bond I know SFS Fund yield 11% while Stanbic yield almost the same rate But for Fixed Deposit you will be getting averagely 4% Some Banks even invest customers fixed deposit funds in Bonds or Mutual funds |

richforever123: The likes of piggyvest issues 12% per annum. But my problem is that, if they shut down tomorrow, where will the customers or investors run to? Because Nigeria is a funny country that its institutions are not properly structured. Don't be surprised that in 5yrs time, the CBN will declare Piggyvest as an illegal institution operating. 1 Like |

Dshocker: You are extremely correct with this statement, do you know that a digital bank called Eyowo got suddenly shut down by the CBN and customers where unable to access their funds, it is very possible, Piggyvest is regulated by Proxy and carries more risk, though the senior management are First Class Graduate of Covenant University 1 Like |

Fyabdul: SFS fixed income fund is good currently as at today rate is 11.04% and rate is relatively stable. It has not done below 11% in the past 9 months. Fyabdul:But are you aware that the 5m will be tied down idle for a whole calendar year? Do you have that discipline and patience? |
emmasoft(m): 1:56pm On Jun 28, 2023 |
michael132: Don't worry, with Stanbic IBTC you are safe. Many folks are here that can testify to the genuineness. The online is also faster and you get maximum attention as per services. Going to Stanbic IBTC bank branch is like going through the proxy because the asset mgt arm is not the same as the bank in of the operations even though they belong to them same HOLDCO. |

Tranquility2345: I don't know why everything about Nairaland is fight, once someone disagrees with your opinion it is war with very irrelevant statements, I mentioned in my statement that a digital bank was suddenly closed down by CBN and people where not able to withdraw funds, I also mentioned that the owners of Piggyest are first class graduate, these are simply un-biased facts and does not mean I want to put my life savings with them, people can use this facts to make the decisions they want |
