Guys I have this issue with my lexus es 350 2013.

When I got the car, whenever I park it, it will automatically fold, and automatically open when I start the engine. But after my car battery was changed, it stopped doing so. I've googled all I could there seems to be a missing button in my car that's supposed to be there. I read somewhere that only Japanese lexus comes with the reset button.


A mechanic said he knows a guy that could reset it, but I haven't met him....

Also my radiator is leaking (I can't tell how come) I load water into it every morning now (which wasn't so before. My mechanic has advice me to buy a new one,. My question is can't be repaired?

Soldering radiator is a waste of time cos it will still leak. Get a new one

Also check your 02 sensor with maf sensor. I cleaned my maf sensor bulb today, e dirty like mad. Then if your 02 sensor no good. Na gobe be that,u go comot am,soak am inside toilet cleaner max 1 hrs. All the water go black. But factory mpg for naija. Highest u go get na 16 to 17mpg if na v6. If na corrola. Even 5 7 litres go carry u reach berger..

But I hear some of these treatments are not good for the catalyst. Or something like that sha. I’ll check the sensor bulb see. Thanks

Its normal. Early mormor,or after 8pm.even at low,dew go form for windshield and driver glass. If u wan knownif your ac good. Wait till its super hot like 1pm,2pm. If u see dew for windshield. Park the car and run. E wan explode be that

Change direction of flow of air thru the ‘MODE’ button from the windscreen to the occupants face and chest area.

The check engine light and traction control light are on.

When I scanned it I got the following codes
P043E, P043F, P2401, P2402 and P2419
Checked online and saw it had something to do with EVAP emissions.
How can I fix this ?

Secondly, anytime I go over rough roads or bumps I hear a very annoying rattling noise in my wheels.
I also hear some squeaky sounds at the front of the car sometimes, the squeaky sounds come and go, mostly comes after driving fast on rough/ uneven roads

Thirdly, I think my car consumes a lot of fuel.
I fill up to about 70Litres and this lasts me for about 245miles
Mostly city driving

How do I fix all this @everyone ?

Reset it. Check google or YouTube.

1. Turn the ignition KEy to position one

2. Press the dashboard button and hold

3. Turn the ignition key to position two and wait for the maintenance required to clear off

4. Start the car by turning ignition to position 3

I put catalyst, but as they jack my car to change catalyst LADIPO Mech damage stabilizer linkage con tell me if noise too much we can remove it 🙄. The next one I saw was a P0172 system too rich, plus my car misfired one time and I felt a power drop( na total ikate fuel do am). My mechanic changed a coil for a spark plug. Everything moving fine again. Now I’m on AFS light blinking. This one I’m very confused, who can help. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in LADIPO to fix my linkage. Thank you

Scan the AFS (Headlamp) system and post codes here.
If you can’t scan headlamp, scan Body computer I believe you’d get the code.

Thank you, I use torque pro and a Bluetooth scanner to scan, I’ve never see any afs code. Also my mechanic said linkage is fine but it’s this thing that is vibrating. Pls what is this. It’s vibrating the driver side front leg

That's your linkage

Finally found out what's it's called. It's the ride height level sensor. It confused me because my mechanic was saying it's for air suspension cars. But I think it's also connected to the AFS in some way. I sha removed it. Let AFS blink on

The timing isn't correct, your chain may have stretched or vvti. A lot of variable are involved here and it's a sensitive job for highly skilled technicians. Locate a skilled technician to check the timing.

The Upstram O2 sensor and down stream O2 sensor behind the radiator should be checked and replaced.
