Lagos laws are SUBJECT to the Nigerian Constitution. Any law that clashes with the Nigerian constitution is NULL and VOID and of no effect. There is NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE LAGOS INDIGENES. Lol. I there was once a bill or something of that sort in the senate for south east development and the whole senate except those from south east said Nay! I kept asking myself why the development of south east became a taboo to Nigeria. I'll go look for that story and bring it back on the front page.

Nobody is chasing anyone away. Lagos state just wants to protect its indigene and put its indigene first the way every state and region does except the southwest and Lagos.

The law is nonsensical. In fact, it is even anti-Yoruba.
So, a Yoruba man originally from Ekiti who has lived in Lagos for more than 80 years wouldn't be considered an indigene of Lagos State; same as a Kogi man?
Hmmm... They should even take it further by saying that only core and verified indigenes of Lagos State should contest for political positions.

What the law should be is that any non indigene of Lagos will not be allowed into Lagos state civil service.... .....

Yoruba Language can be introduced in all levels of education too.

Non indigenes should not be stopped from going to schools or owning properties for businesses....
