⚡️I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but after careful review of this video, it appears that the air defence battery (most likely patriot) tried to save itself, but failed. It most probably got toasted.

Also worth noting that one of the patriot missiles seemingly malfunctioned in the first seconds of the flight and fell a close-by to the launchers.

So apparently the Ukrainians are claiming that their super-duper awesome Patriot missile battery performed flawlessly last night, shooting down 6 hypersonic Kinzhals, 9 Kalibrs, and 3 Iskander missiles.

What a glorious triumph!

Like I always say: If you can't win a real war, win an imaginary one.

Why does a Patriot fire 30 missiles at a maximum of 3 targets, if it should fire 6?
Well, it is because Russian electronic warfare made the batteries believe there are more than 3 targets. It would explain entire SIX 9-A-7660 "interceptions", which were never fired.

HIMARS is less effective because Russia has now adapted to moving many of their high value target outside HIMARS range.
