Pure greed. He’s got a property portfolio of £6m and wanted to pay N270k for kidney? He paid Dr Obeta £4.5k for kidney and his services… but a fair market value for a young kidney is about £150k and medical operations would cost another £150k. So £300k would have saved his daughter’s life and saved him and his wife from going to jail. Just 5% of his oversea property portfolio would have solved this.
