This talk that iPhones don't lag is just a myth. A friend of mine using an XR was watching a movie through xender. I noticed something in the movie he was watching and asked him to rewind. It took 10 seconds to respond.

D pixel 4xl is the better choice. The pixel 4xl comes with a better display (oled compare to the lcd in xr and QHD Display compare to hd in xr), higher refresh rate 90hz compare to 60hz on xr. Better camera comparable to iphone 11 pro, night mode and a telephoto camera. The face unlock is very secure since it comes with a 3d face unlock sensor like the one found on xr.

Concerning the topic at hand, you should also understand that the iPhone is no match for the Pixel. The Pixel 4XL is the superior device here.

choose the S20 fe. It have better performanance, the camera is on par with s20, it also comes with night mode, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, better battery life, higher refresh rate (120hz compare to 90hz in pixel 4xl), and it offers better value for the money.

I have an iPhone 14, and I hate Apple everyday for locking things up a lot. My next phone will be a Samsung.

OP don’t mind those over hyping the iPhone, granted in your case I’ll choose the iPhone XR because of long term and resale value, but if you have money for a high end android phone, never you delay in choosing that android over a so called high end iPhone.

The only thing Xr has ahead of 4xl is the resale value and it's not that 4xl value will drop, it is not just a popular brand.

I am an iPhone , I call it when I see it. iPhone lags only when it over heats, and that can be solved if you are in a cool environment, unlike some old android phones I used in the past, that stutters time to time. That being said, I’d currently pick a galaxy s23 ultra over an iPhone at this moment.

no it isn’t. It lags when extremely hot and if you put it in a cold environment or let’s say cold ice, it cools down and return to normal immediately. It’s not your typical normal lag.

Happens if you are in a hot environment.

Lmao most of you tend to confuse specs on paper with real life usage, all those specs you mentioned are just on paper. the pixel is smoother due to optimization and cleaner software, the main camera is also better

I don't judge base on only specs mentioned on paper. Yes the pixel feel smoother and more fluid due to clean software. But where the samsung 120hz really have advantage over the pixel 4xl is in games and movies that up to 120 fps. It will feel smoother than the pixel. And yes the pixel have better main camera than s20fe since picture taken from the pixel 4xl looks more natural while the s20fe looks more saturated and also more versatile

Both phones are good.

Personally, if I had such budget, I'm going for the TECNO Spark 10 pro cos it's new and comes with warranty
