damiontop:TCc card is not same as tax clearance! Obtain your tax statement which will show all payments made from 2010. Name spelt wrongly should be corrected. Payslip cannot be used in place of tax. They are two different documents. One is issued by an organisation while the other is a government issued doc. |

Waylesdowels:Not sure. The person should give it a try if over 80% of the transcript content covers electrical/electronics. Also they need to have experience in the field. |

tunlex01: Thanks for the feed back. I am waiting on his transcript to check through his course oulines. As for the work experience he has over 10 years experience post qualification. |

You option is to start looking for jobs in your field of study as soon as you land so that you can assess with that upon graduation. Your previous experience won't count then. OR If you don't want to wait, assess your Engineering first degree with EA (CDR option) and get a positive assessment without claiming points for experience. If you can get up to 65 for 189 or 190 or 491, then you may be able to get nomination from your current state before you even finish your masters. |

SundayphilipNic: Not at all, you can land in June. Nothing to be worried about |

Thank you for this kind gesture. i really appreciate this. But, is There no way my work experience would be useful in getting Permanent Residence. it's a profession i would want to continue my career on.I have spent alot of money in writing certifications in this field.

SundayphilipNic:If you can find a way to get a positive assessment cos without a work experience, you may not be able to get PR through skilled migration. |
tunlex01(m): 2:58pm On Apr 16, 2023 |
Chudiogams:Philosophy and social sciences are not related to public relations. Are your experiences pre or post masters? Better still, use the regular format everyone uses in this thread |

Greetings house. My wife is about to Apply for skill assessment via VETASSESS (As a university lecturer). Her profile: School is UNN for both degree and Masters. She is a Pharmacist and has lectured for 6 years. Every document for proofs is available. Currently a PhD student in Australia. Someone here mentioned that we should avoid level 1 occupation as UNN is a tier 2 university and this is giving me concerns. Please is it wise to proceed with VETASSESS skill assessment?. Thanks |

Hello good people, I need some clarity, please... BSC: Mechanical Engineering (Nigerian University) -- 5 years MSC: Mechanical Engineering (South Korean University) --- 2 years PhD: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Ongoing; Australian University) --- First year Currently trying to apply for a skills assessment on Engineers Australia. SK University is accredited under the 3 ACCORDS but Naija Uni isn't (obviously) My question is- should I apply via one of the ACCORDS or via CDR? |

NHQGUY: Please let's be careful, someone just got a straight refusal from a telegraph group without an s57, just because he he claimed years deducted by ACS. Let's not waste opportunity by been daring and be like super eagles, resulting to luck and prayer when we can just do the right and simple thing. |
tunlex01(m): 10:07am On Apr 17, 2023 |
Eaglesfashion:To correct, no one said you should avoid level 1 occupation because UNN is tier 2. There are exceptions and that has been reiterated multiple times. Pharmacy in Nigerian universities is 5-6 years so tier 1 or 2 does not apply in this case. She can proceed with her assessment. 1 Like |

haybhi1: These have been answered on this thread many times. 1. OAU, FUTA, Unilag and UI 2. It's Australian Qualification Framework. Until our NUC updates the educational profile, nothing will change. The last time I checked the details in 2020, our profile had not been updated since august 2013 i think 2 Likes |

Chudiogams:your experience is only considered after your meet the AQF which is your Masters. You may want to explore the Skill Assessment (SAS) with Vetassess to check if your documents will fly or not. |
