You don't understand the issue, the problem is the system of Nigeria that enable looting, and the mentality of Nigerians, that once it's affecting the Igbos more,then it doesn't matter, or if it's going to benefit the Igbos more it shouldn't be. More like Igbos are not wanted.
The argument i might consider is, how sure that Igbos won't run the new country like Nigeria, to me considering everything it won't be different from Nigeria, maybe slightly better,because it will be more stable compared to Nigeria.

So in summary even if Nigeria is working, the fact that Igbos are not wanted is enough reason for self determination.

Not really bro, respect is reciprocal. no matter how bad the leader is, there is still a respect accorded the seat, not really the person. Nobody is really perfect. I tell you, Ikpeazu may be better than Otti in some aspects of life, he is not a TOTAL failure , even though he is looked on as such. Life is multi-faceted. Otti should focus on thanking God for letting him have this opportunity. No matter how it is, if he has good intentions, he will be a successful governor. Onweghi ihe oke ga-eme akpa osikapa. No matter what Ikpeazu does, he cannot do worse that himself, T.A Orji, and Uzor Kalu had done to Abia in the past 24 years. Abia needs to recover from all those. The people questioning this move, understandably do not know what that kerosene governor has done to Abia State alongside his fellow bastards like TA Orji and Orji Uzor Kalu. These vermin are the worst of the worst. They converted their own state from a manufacturing hub into a wasteland. Whatever imaginations you have of a bad leader, multiply that by 10 and you have these guys. If left to their vices, nothing, I mean nothing will be left for the incoming to hit the ground running.
