Good morning house. Pls can any one share experience of their interview when renewing their visas. Especially if you had given birth in the US long time ago and didn't over stay. But now want to apply for visiting visa for 3 weeks with children (US citizens). Please what are the likely questions for the mother. Thanks

Go with all your receipts and zero balance.
I gave birth to my kids in the u.s and I was asked if I paid all my bills and they asked for proof of it. And this has happened to quite a few mums I know as well.

I gave birth in the US in 2019.
Went with my zero balance and all my receipts but they didn't ask for it.
Thry just asked if I was going to get any medical assistance from the government for me or my son and I answered no that we both are very healthy.
Then she said she was asking because there are new rules ro birth tourism. I told her I was done with child birth and am presently not pregnant
Visa was approved .

Hello when did you submit your application and how long did it take before they called you for interview?

Please I need help.
I did 2 different applications for interview waiver appointments.
One for my parents and one for my wife, with both submitted on the same day 7th of March 2023.
Their visas expired in 2021and we have been renewing via dropbox for many years before now.

We received the notification for an interview waiver appointment for my parents within 24 hours (8th March 2023) with an appointment date of 10th March 2023 and we have dropped off the ports since then and awaiting processing.

We expected to receive that of my wife at the same time since they were submitted together but it did not happen.
We waited for 10 days since this was the maximum stated on their website but the time has since elapsed.

We have made inquiries twice via the form but the response has been generic and just says you will be sent a notification via email.
No timeframe, no context, and nothing to work with. This is now the 3rd week and no response.
Any ideas, please?

Now I have received my parents own ports effortlessly with 5 years visa after 19 dayd only and yet not even able to schedule IW appointment for my wife's own that was applied for on the day as theirs. I have made several calls and emails but only get one liners asking me to hold on.

Hubby and kids submitted 7th of February and it was like that for about 3 weeks. He got his back on 7th March and got 5 years. I submitted 14th feb and it’s been like that till now. Still don’t have mine back. So let’s just be patient and see.

I applied in 2021, was hoping to go give birth to my 2nd child there but couldn't get an early date. Didn't have an appointment all through 2022. Was updating my profile in January and was about to go through the IW option but dates popped up and I saw 16th February and I selected since my son had to go for an interview. Got our ports back by 28th February.

My emergency appointment was denied and I have an annual company event to attend by July.

Company in the US provided invitation letter and also proof of employment which I used to apply for the emergency appointment.

Is there anything I can do to ensure I get a faster appointmentdate to be able to attend the event by July this year?

My scheduled visa appointment is June 2024.

I wouldn't say this. On paper, it would seem like she was going there to work even if common sense said it wasn't. Just say she wants to visit her child and grandson.

I qualified for IW but choose to go for interview since my son was to go for interview and I had to accompany him.

And under the other names section on the ds160 form, I added AAAAAA, CCCCC (her maiden name).

Fill a new form, call them to update profile with new number ? You can still do this till 72 hours before appointment date.
