Just have paracetamol ready incase she develops temperature after collecting the vaccine... Some mums ister it before while some mums ister it immediately after baby takes the vaccine... I think the latter is better though both helps baby to neutralise the pain

Ok ma. Thank you

Pls what can I do to reduce breast engorgement, as I have just weaned my toddler off the breast.
I have taken paracetamol and used ice packs but it's been 3 days and still engorged. No fever, just pain and swelling of the breast.

Must Have Baby Items That Can Make Your Life Easier.

Congratulations on becoming a new mom! Here are some must-have baby items that can help make your life easier:

Diapers: You’ll need a lot of these, so it’s a good idea to stock up before your baby arrives.

Baby wipes: These are essential for diaper changes and cleaning up messes.

Baby clothes: Make sure you have a range of sizes, from newborn to 3 months, as babies grow quickly.......

Hello Mama,I read on one page like that(mumsconfession) where people said cold cabbage on the breast helps relieve engorgement,I have not gotten to that stage but I saved it for when I will get there too,so many people said they used it and it worked for them,so mama try it

I am glad you don’t have fevers as i was initially suspecting mastitis.

A warm bath would help as well mum.

Another option is to take medications which stop your milk.I took Cabergoline but that was because my first set of babies died.

Old wives tale says put cold cabbage leaves in your bra and since you not ingesting something it sounds like a good idea to try too.

Fingers crossed it should be gone within a week and the paracetamol should help you feel some comfort else step up to Ibruprofen.

my sister is it jerking also know as twitching or trembling? Jerking (twitching) is when one part of the body or the entire body suddenly move or vibrate while trembling is shaking of the whole bidy as if one is extremely cold.

If it is jerking, it is normal for babies to jerk while sleeping or about to fall asleep till up to when dey are about to clock one year and trembling is normal for new born baby when they cry and not while they are sleeping... If your baby body is trembling when he/she sleeps... I dont think that is normal... Let me just say i never heard baby trembling while sleeping but twitching is very common n normal which will eventually go away as baby develops.

Ok sis, Thank u

I’m going through same now, i took paracetamol and then i wear bra only during the day, at night I don’t so as to allow let down, and it’s getting better, i massage the breasts while bathing and tie wrapper firmly across them, it increases let down and reduced the engorgement for me cos mine was something else. Hard like rock

and @Layormiii do you guys know dt babies lose weight wen u start introducing solid to them because at first d body will have to adjust to d introduction of d new food by gettin use to it and baby start adding weight later on... Sm mamas r lucky deirbaby accept any food dey r introduced to so dey hv no problem with deir baby addin more weight while mamas like me had trouble wit my baby accepting solid food... E lose weight but later gained it bk wen e finally accepted taking solid.... Three things actually comtibuted with him losing his weight then. 1) he was teething 2) so e refused all food but formula and solid altogether. 3) he started walking at d stage at which i was introducing solid food 4 him wen e was 7months plus... D excitement was part of d reasons he wasnt interested in food too.... We r past dt now, he eat all food n weight bk to normal.
thanks mama for always, sorry for late reply nah Nigeria election carry me go where I no know ooo grin
Thanks for the info. My baby don add up sef, I think it was the result of crawling and going up and down and he was teething too.. I might be wrong tho. He eats well now and he's okay.

Happy New Month to us all

Wonderful Mamas pls help

What is the name of this pus filled bump/rashes on my 11 months plus baby's head, fore head even neck? Tried google but seeing different nomenclature.

Some medications (Rexifen, Maxiquine, Erythromycin) were prescribed for him by a Pharmacist but not seeing any changes. Infact it seems the medication is triggering it more. We don't use sponge to bath him for nw. Even applied Ori, Raving baby powder still the same thing.

My mothers, greetings to you all. Please I need your help and advice. My 1 month old baby has heat rash on his face and I used agnesia soap and powder on him and it caused blisters so I stopped. I used rising powder and it was getting worse. Someone asked me to get baby tribotan. Now his skin has two different colors. What do I do?

baby paracetamol, you can get it from the pharmacy.. but please don’t give your baby before the immunization, rather wait for like 3-4hrs afterwards or when you notice the baby’s body getting warm.. also endeavor to not overdress your baby afterwards.. light clothes are okay except you’re using ac

Good afternoon mummies, please who knows about taking fenugreek tea/seed to increase breast milk?
it helps but asides taking things to boost it, how often do you remove breastmilk and also is breastmilk being removed effectively… because breastmilk works on demand and supply, the more it’s being removed, the more you produce

Also stress, diet, lack of sleep, worry and anxiety all affect

Baby tribotan worked for my 1month old rash I think you should be patient and limit the number of things you use as their skin is still delicate...you are doing great mummy there will be breakout at one point or another
