Good day everyone, Please my children captured in Osogbo on the 7th of December last year (fasttrack) one of the port is ready while the officer incharge of my file said the 2nd child entered AFIS Reject ("meaning their is either biometric mixup or finger print mismatch") he said that can only be resolved in Abuja by their partners.....For over 3 weeks now no reply from Abuja according to him. I called him again this morning he said there is nothing he can do until they get a reply from Abuja. Please any Advice as i need the port urgently.

Thanks

Good afternoon everyone,

I got my port today.

Captured date was 18th of January 2023.

I didn't receive any text message. I went there based on what I read here on nairaland that someone got it after week after in sagamu.

I don't think I spent 15mins in the premises.

Thanks y'all.

ijaola:
Well got to the centre before 7:30.

I had port photograph with me but I just decided to snap and I was charge 1k for 8. The woman that snapped the port for me said they won't accept the with file with me. I bought a brown one from her for 500. Very expensive.

I proceed to the gate, we were allowed to enter according to our arrival. I was giving a tally of #10. Then the man who gave me the tally said I will have to pay a compulsory istration fee, I smiled within myself. I do away with 3k. I sat down. And they brought the file, my name wasn't called (hmm, I sha know say I go capture today, can't miss work and won't still capture.)

Then the officer said if you are billed for today and ur name is not mentioned, go to servicom. I got to servicom and explain myself, the officer ask me who did it for me and I said I did it online. He looked at me and I responded I already see an officer. He said I should meet the officer I saw. I went to the officer and he said I should chill. That they will call my name.

I waited for another long period, names were been called and my name wasn't called. I work up to the officer again and he said I should çhill. Those been called have been here before and their files have ed through all the required offices/tables.

My name was eventually called 11. Went to an office. Signed and port collected from Mr. Was told to wait till outside. I was later called for capturing room around 12:31pm. I waited patiently for my turn. I capture and left the facility exactly 1:02pm.

Was told port will be ready in 2-3weeks. But on the slip give to me. Collection is on the 23rd of January.

A lot people I saw there actually paid agent to run the whole thing.

Thank you all on this forum for been helpful. This forum gave me confidence to pursue this DIY.

Total money spent is 29k

Please, do you mean Abakaliki, in Ebonyi State?
If so, i will be glad if you could give an overview of port situation in Ebonyi.

Bro Abakaliki office is very easy and seamless. Applied, captured and got mine in just a week.

How was the collection process? Were there financial charges again?

Umuahia port office is the most corrupt I have seen so far. The PCO, a woman officer has ruined there. After paying online, I was told to pay a mandatory fee of 13k saying it's for logistics.. then after that I was told to pay for useless fast track of 20k which I refused. it's almost 4 weeks I applied for port reissue..
EFCC N IC pls come investigate that PCO in umuahia.. I will get her name next time.

Collection at Shagamu centre is as easy as ABC, I was there today to capture and I can tell the centre is far far better than Abeokuta.
Also Shagamu is DIY friendly, though they ask for fee of 6k, you can either pay or pay less depending on your pleading power.
I keep my finger cross as per the collection date given to all of us today which is just a week away.

Greetings All. I've seen a few mention Sagamu port office as being one with little or no stress on getting the port done.

Is it possible to process, capture and secure a fresh port from Sagamu port office within 2 weeks? Not DIY though.

My DIY Experience at Festac port Office

I think things have changed and the process for DIY at Festac was very easy. I filled out my form online, total spent was 26,000. Then I proceeded to gather all my documents.

-NIN slip( one photocopy)
-Filled and signed guarantors form(signed by a commissioner of oaths)
-Photocopy of the data page of your guarantor's port (some people forgot to take this along
-Original birth certificate and indigene cert with just one photocopy of each
-1 copy of your online application
-2 copies of your payment slip
-1 copy of appointment slip.
- Marriage cert for married women

I got to the office by 7:30 am, we had to wait till 8:00 am before the gate was opened and we were allowed to go in after they addressed us.

For DIY go straight to the servicom unit and submit your appointment letter (they did not open till 9:00 am thou).

Then go and sit down in the hall. They will your application. Ensure your NIN info is the same as the info you filled out online.

After they have verified, they will come to the hall to call your name, follow them to their office, where they will tell you how to arrange your documents, they will also ask to see the original copies. Then a file will be opened for you.

You will take this file to the capturing centre and tell them you want to submit for enrollment (do not the queue for those who are going in for capturing, you will be asked to stand up). Go back to the hall and wait for your name to be called for capturing.

When your name is called, collect your file and go for capturing. Viola.

I finished everything by 11:30 am.

It would be unfair not sharing my experience here, I learnt all I did on here.

My experience at Alimosho center on 14/02/2023. I got there quarter to 10, I met a guy at the gate who asked for my purpose and i inquired to know his business with what I came to to do..

Got into the hall met one Officer 👮‍♀️ Tunde who also asked for my purpose which I narrated to him, he then requested for 3500 to open a file as per DIY and another 5500 to push it in. I was like fun ki ni (For what) He then said I should call anybody I know that is the modus operandi. I ignored him went to meet another Officer Adeyemo and told him my purpose as per DIY, he pointed at an officer BELLO at servicecom (Seated at one corner). I told him I have an appointment to.. before I could land he requested for my documents, vetted the documents and asked me to write an application which I did, he then asked me to seat.

After about 10minutes I went to meet him he told me he’s about taking my file inside. The officer BELLO was extremely polite and professional.

I waited for about 30 minutes before I was called for capturing. After capturing I was given a paper with my name and sum numbers.

Before leaving the hall I tracked my application, port production in progress.

I didn’t spend a dime till I left about 12noon.

6k payment isn't DIY again. So give it to Abeokuta

Yes, I'm surprised that paying my way up' actually works grin. I paid 60k - an amount I thought I'd wasted until my connect called last night . Reason being, everyone on here and their dog had been hammering so much on the hoax that 'fast-tracking' was a scam that I actually believed it. Comprehend? I have never ever demanded a penny from anyone here. I don't even know anybody. So you can rest with your filthy suspicions.

M fasttrack payment is slow tracking
Couldn't be bothered about the rest of what you put up here, because I know myself. And that, my friend , is enough!

Anyway folks, it brings me great pleasure to announce to you all that finally I have my Pali in hand!

Okay. Unfortunately, i don't have a reliable person there. port processing and issuance shouldn't give one stress like many are experiencing. Staying up to 1 month or more before capturing is just not it at all.
