He said battery data, he didn't mention app data. I recall then when I used to wipe battery statistics from tpr recovery mode on my other phone that's why I'm asking if there's another way around it on this newer models.

Like Meister have already stated, that is the solution.

Scroll down. You will see a settings with IPV4/IPV6. Click on it and select only ipv4. Save your settings and all will be fine.
