Imagine just 250 million naira at the head office in Abuja ?
250 million is not even enough for 1 branch of sterling in Lagos island for 1 week.
Thought it was billions
It is enough when it is changing hands in minute to minute, hour to hour and day to day routine transactions done by the common man.

But can never be enough for greedy politician who mop up the cash to stack up in his bedroom.

What the cbn is trying to do is to reduce cash in the economy…use other means!!!!

I hope the mods will be kind enough to report Sterling bank's response? Let's be careful o. If you people allow the CBN and politicians to instigate the masses against neighborhood banks, Nigerians will suffer. Some banks will not recover for life and customers better get ready to forfeit their life savings. There's nothing you will do if that happens. Absolutely nothing.

No one fights corruption in 3mths... But let's watch where this will end..
Politicians already have this money... It's too late to assume this anti people policy will stop vote sales... It will be easier now... 1-2k per vote..
Buhari and Emefiele may have devised a sound idea but flawed execution will ensure its sure FAILURE..
It's a two edged sword. It may work for or against the Politicians. There's a reason why banks are being fingered and busted for hoarding the notes.

The so called people keeping you in penury are the brainless politicians mopping up the currency?

You call people that are presumably more intelligent than you brainless?

This is all pre-planned and a lead up to the implementation of the beast cashless system, and have nothing to do with curbing vote buying or fighting corruption. This is a global agenda and it looks like Nigeria is being used as a test run, it is going to be worldwide soon and it will be Integrated with the satanic covid vaccine through the vaccine ports. You have to be silly to believe that all this chaos is from CBN or your banks being incompetent.

That means you didn't read the write-up, because if you did you would have seen where it was written that only five million was given to each branch. You can go to Abuja and go and collect your money.

Cbn should open a website, were everyone going to take money should whenever they withdraw money, this will help them monitor how money leave banks.
People should go to bank with a printed copy.

Their branch at eke awka, awka anambra state had been doing fine. No day es without people queueing and withdrawing money. Unlike other banks within the environ that hv refused to load their machines for people to withdraw.

Nigerians are generally wicked and selfish. Our leaders are even better than some of us. I've decided to vote APC as punishment to Nigerians. We deserve more suffering. angry

How will they CHARGE their mentality when power failure is also a major problem in Nigeria
Abi they should use generator? That one too is difficult because there's fuel scarcity.
