We got DQ I think June, I was expecting Montreal to take 1year for the interview date like they did with my friend. But surprisingly we got a date in august for OCT 31st. I came down to Montreal to have the interview and they asked us to provide a different type of police cert.

Apparently the one we got was the basic criminal record check, but they wanted the “full repository from RCMP”. Anyways, I went back to work and we are planning on sending the additional documents along with our ports back to the consulate soon.

I needed my port to get back into the states, so I collected it back after the interview.

Wishing everyone a testimony filled year. Feel free to send me an email after ing Nclex and in need of a USA employer.

Just to update and encourage people here.
I just scheduled my visa appointment today and I got an appointment for 9th of March. It’s been almost one year of waiting and I’m glad we finally have an appointment. For anyone that successfully expedited their case to the embassy, please them, they’ll ask you to create a profile and book your appointment yourself. Just keep checking the portal until you get a date. At a point I was checking the portal every 6 hours to see if I can get an appointment. I would literally set alarm for every 6 hours and I’m glad that stage is over now. Best of luck to everyone still waiting for an appointment.

Hello everyone. I created an just to share our own experience. My wife is a nurse but I’m the one handling most of the processes.

PD November 2021, DQ February 2022.
After waiting for an appointment for six months, we made an expedited request in August 2022 and got approval notice a week later. Our case file arrived the US consulate in Lagos at the end of August. We ed the consulate via email ([email protected]) and they asked us to create an , a profile and schedule our appointment on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng.

We have been trying to schedule an appointment since then but there are no appointments available. In fact I have been checking the website every six hours as advised but nothing yet. We even asked for help from agents but none has been able to help. I understand the U.S. consulate is short staffed and there’s a lot of backlog. So it’s still a waiting game for us. That’s our experience so far, hopefully we’ll get an appointment soon.

We made an expedited request to the NVC and got some ing documents from my wife’s employer. You can search for NVC expedite request on YouTube, you’ll find all the info you need there.

Does it mean that Police report from Nigeria isn't necessary just that of finger prints from USA?

As an EB-3 if you are nurse, You are not submitting any financial documents , your employer takes care of that. After reviewing this thread, you can check out youtube pages for more inforamtion e.g sheabutter ventures or connetics usa nursing page.

@ MagicM , I just stubbled on this thread, my wife is a Nurse too, Am the one following up the process. PD = 02/06/2023, i-140 approved, waiting for DS-260 application. Please I would like to know the process of this expedited action. Thank you,
