If the payment quote is in a foreign currency then naira card won't work. Either you use wakanow or go to the airline's office and pay in naira.

Mail them and attach your slip to the mail also raise a webform. My sis did hers since August 23rd. It was only updated after i mailed them November. It got updated in 24hrs

Thanks for the this, I really appreciate it. Saw a flight for 869k, Egypt Air on wakanow for January 1 that goes to Sydney, Nova Scotia because that's where my school is. Although I'll touch down at Toronto first and spend over half a day there before I continue my journey. My school is resuming January 3 and ticket prices are steep during that period, from the whole of December ending sef, which was my ideal travel date.

According to the link below, it's not compulsory. It says if you don't have a printed copy of the port of entry letter, you can provide the electronic copy or your visa in your port.

Honestly, I don't want to reschedule because of this letter especially if it's not really required at border services. My concern is that I heard some airlines request for it.

Just close eye book any one cheaper and does not have layovers in US except you have a transit visa

Nov 4th - Medicals Updated after sending countless emails and webforms to Nairobi only.
Nov 16th - I randomly checked after sending my daily dose of Webforms and Emails to Nairobi and saw Eligibility review has started.
Nov 23rd - BVL Dropped after sending mails to all the emails I could find on Nairaland and webforms to Nairobi.
Nov 28th - PPR Dropped again after sending countless mails to all the Emails I previously sent to and also webforms.
Dec 1st - Submitted my port at VFS Abuja (I just walked in with my port and the Photocopy of my port data page that they stuck a white paper on after my Biometrics and told me to expect a text when the port is ready for pickup)
Dec 6th - Got a mail and a text that my port had been stamped and was ready for pickup.
Dec 7th - Picked up the port from VFS ( I can't even explain how beautiful it looks).

I applied by myself with all the information I got from Nairaland and YouTube. All the sponsorship letters I wrote by myself, and just gave my mom to sign and scanned. I also paid my tuition with Form A even though it was a hassle, I disturbed FCMB with emails and calls for three months before it was finally disbursed. I lost my Dad a week before I applied, but I thought against including his death certificate so it doesn't affect the application. I don't know, but I feel the application was approved because it was backed with a lot of ing documents to prove my sponsor is really established in Nigeria and can afford to fund my stay and schooling in Canada. I also wrote a very detailed SOP about why I was going to study for a post secondary diploma even though I had a Bsc which is higher and also in a totally different field, I explained the importance to my career growth and I also emphasized that after my studies I was going to come back to Naij and pursue a career and take care of my mom most importantly.

All these couldn't have been possible without God's intervention though, so I just suggest that we all involve God in all the processes as much as we can. This journey has really thought me to never underestimate the power of prayers.
I hope this helps somebody and I wish speedy approvals to everyone hopeful for a decision.

True. Now even that week of Christmas, the week before and after Christmas na million naira flights. It's next week flight that I saw one less than a million naira and soon it'll be gone.

Thank you for the good job y'all are doing on here, it's really helpful and encouraging to keep pushing.

I got ission into a 2 years diploma program in Quebec, I have been given Letter of Acceptance although I haven't paid any tuition deposit, just paid registration fee.

I need clarification on some questions bothering me and on how to get Proof of Funds as I can't afford the interest rate those helping people with the POF are asking for.

1. Should I pay the tuition deposit before applying for the study permit? The school did not make it compulsory but advised I pay the deposit if I can.
2. Can I use POF from a friend or someone who isn't related to me? If yes, are there any special documents to be prepared for submission?
3. Do I need to state that we have a special kind of relationship to convince the VO?
3. Is there a specific duration that the funds have to be in the of this person before and after applying for study permit?

Please, I'd appreciate your comments/suggestions as I could use any help I can get at this time as I am a first time applicant and I applied by myself.

Sometimes we worry a lot. I submitted my port for stamping via DHL Tuesday. Tracked it yesterday,it already got to vfs by 9:47,no Mail from VSF. Naive me,I am here panicking. Today port stamped. Coming back to me tomorrow morning as I confirmed from DHL tracking. Two&half yrs visa given. See you guys next time. Gotta prepare.

This is really not nice, it’s over a month already. You should go back to this Qlife and complain to them. Make them know how their negligence is going to cost your ission/visa and I thought it’s IOM that wasn’t organized. No much difference between them and Qlife obviously.
