I believe you can use a fixed deposit because I also used it and got approved. The maturity date on the one I used is next year August. I also added MBS and Money market funds alongside the fixed deposit. All the best

I got a call from DHL Abuja today stating that VFS returned my documents because I didn't include a return envelope, alternatively I was asked to pay for Vsf courier partner and put the proof of payment and send it back to them, I have done that it got to them today but no acknowledgement yet still.

Call DHL office and ask about your documents.

Did you submit an email and a web form after you did your medicals??
And abeg start sending emails and webforms to IRCC, your application is due

90 days is 3 months, you mean 3 months is not enough to gain ission and renew student visa when you are already in Canada?

It's not worth the risk and the expense. People who do this extension/renewal thing, more often than not do a PGWP eligible program for the first one year.
That way, they're on an implied status of post graduate work permit for 1 year which is more than enough time to do the 1 + 1 method.

But, to each their own. This is my own POV.

I used fixed deposit with few s having like 8m liquid funds and got an approval. Just make sure you explain how the funds will be available after maturity and the reason it is in fixed deposit. And if you can, attach all the certificates for the investment periods plus the bank statement and relate the previous maturity dates (if any) with the credit dates in the statement.

Most importantly, at least have some liquid funds in another .

I'm not sure they use that address for postage. So for me, the address on all my documents and correspondence are my parent's because of my bank statements and all.
However, the address I use and used for postage is where I live (which is different from my parent's)

Alright. It’s best to apply for your refusal notes on CBSA/GCMS to have a better view on your refusal. However, has your friends dad ever paid for something in the past for you, or even made a payment for part of your Canadian institution? How many years program did you go for ? It’s very good to prove a very strong relationship in your application in whoever is actually sponsoring you. Did you prove a very good relationship with your friends dad in your application?

Return envelope is the DHL envelope with the return address which is inserted into your brown envelope and stapled.

I sent mine on Friday and it was delivered today. Didn't get a confirmation email but I checked the DHL track and trace. I didn't receive an acknowledgement mail so I had to chat with VFS on webchat and few hours later I got the mail.

Sent mine on Friday from Enugu. It got to abuja today, received acknowledgement mail today.

Ircc just requested for a new LOA and updated Pof, I moved the funds I submitted at first to usdt due to $ rise can I submitted my portfolio as part of pof now?

And can I also attach LOE for it and also explain lumpsum I had in my first pof?
