I just recieved my port now phew!
The stress of this canada journey is unending.

So I sent my port through DHL on the 21st of November and it arrived VFS Lagos(where I did my biometrics) on the 22nd.

However, DHL said they do not carry out 2way courier service anymore as that was a new instruction from Vfs so I paid for the 1way return fee directly to Vfs.

I got an acknowledgement email from Vfs that day and i was getting subsequent email update from vfs on the whereabouts of my port.

I got a message on the 30th of November that my port had been couriered from Abuja and will be sent to me via their courier partner. My LOI and Counterfoil was yet to drop on my portal so I sent 2 webforms to IRCC and it dropped the next day 1st of December

I couldn't track my port so I was in the dark until today I ed vfs and they gave me my AWB number and told me to track on UPS website which I did and found out it had arrived in my city but they said they had issues with my address. So I walked into their office to retrieve it.

In everything you do, put God first cause he made all this possible at his own timing.

I'd advise you DHL too and tell them vfs hasn't acknowledged that they've received it.

Good morning everyone, My sister got denied the first time due to lump sum and insufficient balance, she re applied by August and made necessary adjustment with evidences and till date she's had no update, she ed the medicals the first time around but in her second application it hasn't been updated to ed, eligibility hasn't even started, no bvl update @makano @frankronbin and all the gurus in the house what do you suggest we do? She also sent series of webform. The wait is affecting her mental health � her school resumes on the 9th of January.

I’m not a guru but I also trade crypto, with the way crypto was designed government bodies don’t have access to it, the only thing you can do is to screenshot your transactions with your name on it and your total assets, even with that ircc won’t be able to this. My honest opinion would be for you to convert your crypto assets to naira and show updated my bank statements and attach to your application.Goodluck

Please I need help on the best way to provide proof of funds.

I got itted into conestoga college.

It's a 2 year program and I have the funds to pay for the first year of tuition.

For the proof of funds, I have a family friend who has agreed to act as sponsor by making use of his bank statement.

However, I have no family ties with this family friend. Will it be enough if he writes a letter stating his decision to be my sponsor.

If this will not suffice, what other alternatives do I have?

I have sent an email with documents attached but I haven't gotten a response from IOM since Friday Morning. I sent an email update this morning, it was only a generic response I got. Q-life also doesn't have available dates and I have emailed them too. It's 2 days now, no reply. Can I do A walkin to their office to make complaint if I don't receive a reply by the end of today?

You can call their helplines and let them know you’ve sent a mail and haven’t gotten a response.
I booked mine over a call, as their site was having issues at the time i wanted to book an appointment
