Yes, Cameroon especially usually play well in the midfield but there's always a problem with the front line. I think it's a problem with most African teams. They lack the hunger for the finish.

You garrit, same old story. Africa and mediocrity!!! After this match when Cameroon have lost by a goal or so, people will be shouting they tried, that is what I hate most. If Saudi or Japan had that mediocre mentality they wouldn't win their respective matches.

That was how some people were saying Senegal tried, a team that was clueless at the final third, Africa really has a long way to go, the Asians have left us behind in football. 4 African representatives have played without a single win , that is bad, very bad.

Everytime we loose to Argentina by a goal margin , people will keep shouting we tried, I nearly fought with one man last world cup, we needed a draw, Argentina needed a win to qualify, they still beat us and the man was saying we tried by loosing by a goal margin and we should consider that Argentina has Messi ,et Al. I was infuriated, how can we play Argentina 5 times at the world cup and lost all the matches? Even Togo would get at least a draw from 5 encounters.

Have you not noticed how the average African man sells himself short? In marriage, in employment, in the choice of political leaders, in the acceptance of fate, in the acceptance of poor infrastructure, everything! We've carried the same thing into football, settling for less.

In the 2018 world cup Japan meant to crush Belgium, they didn't mean to give half measures at all. They wanted to just kill Belgium. Belgium had to fight hard not to lose. It is the same spirit Japan has brought to this world cup. But the Africans as usual just do not care.
