The answer is partly dark...Saudi Arabia had a lot of slaves. Millions of black people were taken into slavery by the Arabs. (SA ended slavery only in 1969.).

Also, a lot of black people migrated to Saudi over the years to live...note that the definition of Arab includes people who are as black as we are, but are culturally Arab.
