hustla:He is Indian. In India, the more you spend and pay back, the better your credit score. He had the money but thought it was the same thing so he tried his best to spend as much as possible and paid back. |

onecoder:It actually works and doesn’t get reversed. I did this once with my Amex CC when I had to pay a lump sum for a service and I wanted to hit that 10% spend on my CC for that month. However, I hear Amex will block your if you overdo it because it doesn’t reflect as cash withdrawal, it instead reflects as a PayPal online purchase. |

Viruses: From what I can of storage heaters, they are not supposed to be operated without a reduced tariff (night, off-peak, whatever), because they are generally sort of inefficient in that you can't really control the release of heat after you've charged the thing on the cheaper rate which is a nightmare when you're out in the daytime. If I clearly, in Aberdeen then (and generally that cold part of up north in Scotland, we had special tariffs not Economy 7 or 10, something specifically designed for storage heating with two meters. I don't know if this is your situation, but I had 2 meters, one for normal use covering lights points, sockets, etc, everything excluding heating and one which covered all the heating (boiler and heaters). They would charge slightly higher for the electricity used in the first meter and lower for the second meter, but that tariff was available throughout the day. Let's say that the general price-cap for electricity per kWh is 10p. On the first meter I was billed higher, maybe 13p. Then on the second meter covering the heating I was billed lower, say 8p. But the 8p tariff was available throughout the day, not limited only to nights, and they would sometimes charge the storage heaters during the day as well and i could leave the boiler on its timer switch because irrespective of when it came up, day or night, the tariff was the same. I dont think that particular arrangement was available in England, people tended to talk about Economy 7 and 10 and all that. So if you are being billed a higher day rate to make up for a lower night rate, in your shoes I would leave that for this winter (which is anyway appearing to be a mild one though, Aberdeen in those days was always very cold), then go to the flat rate when its warmer. 1 Like |

TheGuyFromHR: You took the thoughts out of my mind. My case is one meter for day and night rate and the night rate is useless at night during summer, not even for charging phone. |

Hello guys. I posted about driving bruhaha where I worked. Although my company advised me to apply for a provincial license which I have done, I noticed they have been very cold towards me since then. They find fault in everything I do and threaten to send me home at any slight instant. They are delibrately frustrating me. I get accused for things I didn't do and I am not given a chance to defend myself. Currently I trek several miles daily to see clients because my company said I can only buy a car until I get my my driving test and I can't use my international license. They paid me without a pay slip and wen I requested they ignored. I was threatened that I will be sent home if any report comes about me. I am tired. I just called another company who are willing to sponsor me after an interview. My question. Can I go with the new company because I have only worked for a month with my current company. What about my dependents, do they need to apply as well |
Estroller: 4:36am On Nov 10, 2022 |
progress160: Yes you can change jobs and your dependants can continue on their current visa and renew at expiration using your new COS. 1 Like |

Estroller: Please do you know when someone with COS can apply for her new husband, is it after she has gotten her 5 years stamped on her port or now? the dependant is still in Nig. Can the dependant apply for visa with the COS? THANKS |
Estroller: 5:30am On Nov 10, 2022 |
TobyTreasure: Now or later, as long as application is done before the visa of the main applicant expires. Yes he will need the COS of the main applicant to apply. 1 Like |

Joooooor what kind of visa sponsorship arrangement do you have with these people that they're holding your balls tight so? The threats are too many and looks more like abuse to me. You may have to report them to the authorities if you think your visa sponsorship is genuine and prepare to make the move away. progress160: |

Very true and sad really. May be because a lot of people demand it rather than earn it. You earn it when you have all qualifications and know your rights to be sponsored for one rather than the other way round. The OP obviously demanded it without knowing his/her rights or did not meet the requirements of the job and was given, now they are using that inadequacy to threaten him/her knowing backing out won't be an option LagosismyHome: |

The threats aren't good. #Toxic. On face value, they can be contested with ease. However, the 'generative mechanisms' aren't assistive. One nuance, albeit a fundamental one, is the OP uneconomical with the truth, and breaching UK driving rules (I bet the company have 'evidentary' record; although OP can turn around to rope 'em in as accomplice!). Yes, if OP can move on, in the circumstances, it'll be great. In doing so, he should take UK driving a priority and get 'converted' as practically possible. Iree o bigtt76: progress160: |
