I do that only after incremental updates, and it's not even everytime. Hard restart solves most issues after an update.

I watched youtube videos and followed the stated instructions yet the problem remains.

It is the same for all Xiaomi devices and infarct a lot of android devices. Hold your power button for 10-15 seconds

It happens rarely now.

Try reposition the screen guard or get a new one. This might work for you too.

I've been using my Note 8 for 2yrs... Everything still okay except the network..I recently updated my phone to miui 12.5.2 and the network has been shit..I thought maybe it's from my area but I decided to pay a friend a visit...Just a stone throw to Thier house is an MTM mass.. Stroll over to the mass stand to test my phone network strength and it's was still same...Took me over 30mins to a content worth of 120mb..
I really need your help brothers.. sometimes when I'm a low network area my network will switch off..it's very tiring..I really need to fix this
