Henry was obviously a better player technically and stylistically than eto'o ever was. His records in the PL(x4 league topscorer, x2 european golden boots) shows his pedigree. That he is still 's highest goal scorer and won the world cup establishes his legacy. However, where eto'o might claim to have a better record was his goal record in finals. Henry I think scored only 1 goal in all the finals he played in his career, while eto'o made his mark in 2 CL finals and a couple of afcon finals for Cameroon. Same with Drogba who always seemed to score in finals( think he scored in 9 or so). Drogba as well as eto'o dont come close aesthetically or statically to Henry but who would you pick in a final knowing their record respective records? Always different facets to consider in these kind of comparisons.
