My own, they made the mistake with my name. My JAMB is correct it them nor want correct my certificate. I'm coming for them December. I am considering suing them if I don't get my certificate by December

Of course you can sue them. I advise you to sue them even so it will serve as deterrent to other universities and colleges. You can't be running an institution like you are in Alaba markert! You should be suing for damages, the mental torture and the opportunity lost by their incompetence. You can add bribery charges if you have a video or sound record from the exam officer. You can go with secret camera next time. Sue them for 50m naira.

Firstly brother you don't have money for the stressful litigation. But there is an easier way. Petition to IC and SERAP, I am a lecturer and I have witnessed first hand the implications of such a petition. The registrar summons my HOD first thing the next morning. The results was prepared and a copy sent to IC. Try it

This month of October makes it complete 3 years since I wore graduation cardigan, poured water all over my body and wrote "done and dusted" on my white top, celebrating that I am a graduate but I am yet to see my result.

Although I am not the only but this dribbling from exam's officer to the HOD to the school senate to the DVC's office is just too much for me. These people seem not to realize the pains I am going through as a result of my inability to lay man hands on my certificate.

Where is my final approved result?

Exam's officer would say he's working on the result (3years on)

HOD would say the result is with him and he has sent it to the school senate/DVC for approval

DVC office would say no such result on their desk

HOD would say again DVC returned the result for corrections

Exam's officer would say again he is till working on the result

Exam's officer would say again bring money for your mobilization, the result has been signed and approved and I would pay the money but won't see anything.

Stories upon stories.

Part of us who graduated that 2019 have gone for NYSC and returned and yet the exact position of the result for those of us remaining cannot be said.

I have lost great opportunities all these while. I have been in serious pains, hardship and thinking too much (almost in depression) about my unemployed status. I have even become source of mockery and gossip to the people around.

It is not even as if I wouldn't get a job. But where is my result so I can apply for certificate and get a job and move on with my life?

Please I need legal advice on this matter. I'm considering suing the department and the institution at large for damages.

Have you ever seen the Exam officer working on your result?
Are you sure that all your results are complete?
If you have any carryover courses which you cleared, ensure that the results have reached the Exam officer.

You can write a petition to the VC. Copy the DVC Academics, Registrar and your Dean. State the facts clearly.

Couple of years ago a friendof mine sued their stinking assand won them. After they paid damages they guy left d school and went to Igbinediom where he graduated from and is now a practicing medical Dr.
My point is u should sue the morons and compel them under mandamus law to process and release urresults while paying accrued damages. I'm sure that pushing this to Twitter will help too as the institution won't be too comfortable with their name on public domain for the wrong reasons.

Una no want do the needful, I graduated from CRUTECH and my department naturally takes a minimum of 1yr or more after graduation before you go for service. It got to our set in less than 6month even under the strike we were mobilised coz we didn't allow peace to rain. Always disturbing and wherever the violence ain't working,cash flow will do the trick. Maybe you all ain't disturbing or wetting the ground. Maybe you all are just calling ur exam officer once a week or month.

But my question here now, if your results were intact, why didn't you go with the first batch of your set?

All that is required is for the result to be ready from the desk of the exam's officer. The HOD will sign and send over to the school senate/DVC's office to vet, approve and sign and that is all. I don't know why this is taking like forever. It's a pure case of negligence by those involved and that is why I should sue them.

Its not just a pure case of negligence.
Try go undercover to unravel whats is going on.
Go get someone who's extremely close to the exam officers to help you tape record what happened to your result while he/she just pretent to innocently ask about you guys issues they heard years back.
Are you ever been caught for examination malpractice and pardoned?
Are you involved in cultism, caught and pardoned?
No school in Nigeria can be that insensitive not to know how importance your result is after years of graduation.
Stop deceiving yourself by attributing just mere negligence, go try to personally dig deeper.
If you sue them or publicly call them out, they will shame you and defend the school reputation.
You guys need to be more smarter.

I was very calm in nature but rugged in Spirit and body, them no born my school that year well when I wan go collect my certificate mk them carry me the dey play bobo juice cuz them know say I'll take every measures to shake the school upandan...they know me n my men for being stubborn and solid in all areas, even my HOD dey use me as back up that year when him get problem with school..

It's either your school does not have the necessary things in place to provide your certificate or they're just playing with your lack of intelligence and ignorance to keep extorting from you until they're tired...

Better MAN the Bleep up and revolt against them mk their brain reset...

Just said I should correct you.

Sue the person who should be in charge off it for criminal conspiracy and thebschool in the suit but before then make sure you have all your departmental results signed by your hod. Before they now turned it upon your head that you never ed any course there. Moreso, make sure that all your ission documents to the school and the various levels you attained before graduation and the various lists pasted. Have them handy. I bet you one of them will go to jail or they produce your certificate.

That school is the worst school in Nigeria followed by Delta state University. I served with a lot of DELSU graduates in 2015 and I can confidently tell you that school produce DULLARDS into the labour market

Unical have result portal , that has been operational since 2017, were student and check their result, and also old students result have been digitalized too.

I'm surprised that such a thing will be going out there, I graduated 2018 and my result was ready before I went for service, infact I used my original certificate for service, please which department? Are you sure there is nothing sinister going on or your result has not been tampered with?

I'm a Unical student, seriously I don't know where he got that from... Our V.C Florence OBI has ordered certificates to be released to the graduates... Seems he's having Carey over or something.
Note: Unical don't waste a damn Time to issue cert
