Blessed in dis house I greet u all.... U guys ar really doing a great job here... I mean a very gud one, giving hope to d hopeless n giving advise n directions to d lost n confused applicant on Visa n traveling matters... I really appreciate u guys for ur n advise wen I was going through alot on my ISTRATIVE REVIEW process... Bliv me guys av bin trouble since I got a mail of successful visa application n no visa sticker on my port... Today makes it 8working days i submit back my port to TLS n no response frm dem.... My question is dis....My TB test certificate wil expire on d 5th November n am thinking of booking a flight for 2nd November wit d hope of getting back my port before den because ticket is cheaper for November 2nd n to get to UK before my Tb certificate expire... Is it proper making dis decision or not? Pls guys advise on dis wil b highly appreciated. |

Jocabasa: My best advise to you regarding the flight situation will depend on what platform you are using to book. If it’s Wakanow, I will advise you go directly to their office to make that booking. That way you can tell them you want to book a refundable ticket. So if your port does not return before then, you can always cancel and get your money back. Cheers and safe trip! |

Jocabasa: Maybe you can try either the TOUCHDOWN or TRAVELSTART. I think TRAVELSTART is good, because I usually use them to check for ticket rates, then compare with WAKANOW, but I’ve not used them. I think if you are concerned about them (TRAVELSTART or TOUCHDOWN), no need to worry, just search them on google and get their address. It’s best to visit their offline office to make any booking. That way, you will feel safer. |

Olasco001: Well from what I know so far, visa applications are judged based on individual circumstances, irrespective of it being a group application. Moreover, each applicant will be submitting their applications separately. But since you said your boss will be covering for the trip, I suppose this includes all costs right? Or would you be paying for part of the trip? If your answer to the second question is yes, then I will ask the same question Giselle asked you earlier, how do you survive here? Like what do you do for a living? How do you make money? As all these informations will be needed when applying. Cheers! |

I didn’t know each of us will submit application separately I believe both of us will book 1 appointment and submit 1 application which I will be included, I work with Private Hospital � , aside that’s I have building Materials shop, But I didn’t have CAC for the business |

Olasco001: Yes please, the both of you will have to submit your applications separately for the sake of biometrics (i.e submission of fingerprints). However, I think there is a section on the application form that says if you will be traveling with anyone. When you get to that point, you can put your boss’ name as the person you’re traveling with, whilst he does the same on his own form as well. More so, if that option of who you will be traveling with isn’t available on the form, quite similarly, your boss can write a letter addressing it to UKVI, stating he will be traveling with you and why, and also declaring the intentions of the trip, as well as the length. Also, if he will be paying for the trip, you will also put his name and how much he will be paying towards your trip on the application form. He will have to attach his bank statement as well as port and other relevant documents that will be helpful to your application. On your own end, you will equally have to provide your bank statement/s, both personal and business(at least six months. Although I’ve seen people using less than six months and still get their visa). In the absence of CAC, you can furnish the consular officer with your sales receipts to show the business is in operation, photos of your business, as well as receipts of other bills you pay like shop rent, tax etc. As all these will be used to judge your personal circumstance. You will also need a letter of absence from your place of work and also a letter from your job showing you’re a staff and how much you earn. Mind you, for your bank statement, don’t make the mistake of dumping a huge sum of money for the purpose of boosting your , because the ECO isn’t concerned about how much you have, but the proportionality of the inflow and the outflow in your bank and how it affects your trip and your personal circumstance here in Nigeria. Lastly, if you receive deposits of your business in your personal bank , you can indicate in a cover letter. Hope this helps? Regards |

zube01: Ok, if you made the application on behalf of your fiancé, You can say something like: To whom it may concern, I would wish to understand the situation with the visa application I made on behalf of my fiancé. I did make a paid mail in that regard and the response I got indicated that I would get a within 5 working days. By my calendar, it has been more than 5 working days since the mail and no yet. It is actually a frustrating situation for me at this point and I would kindly like to be updated on the current situation with this application, as it is already 3 months since submission of application and biometrics. However, be sure to know that your card details will be needed to complete booking, whether you are paying at the hotel or not.
