I have a Oil Palm plantation. It's 2years old. I am having some issues with the plant health, about 60% of the trees. It started about a week ago. The new palm fronds at the center or apex fronds are beginning to wither and die. What can I do urgently. This disease. can be
control by removing affected plants,
Plant oil palm varieties with resistance
to the bacteria; rotting tissue on spear
leaves should be removed to prevent
bacteria spreading to buds; palm buds
can be protected using copper-based
fungicides.
There is another method you can control the spread and totally eliminate the disease. .
