Pls who has used access bank recently for Form A. How long does it take access bank to debit?

I want to ask for guidance, I opened a UBA on the 5th of October and initiated a form A for payment of my tuition fees and not PTA. Does the time of opening this has any effect on the approval for processing the form A.

I would please appreciate a prompt reply so as to know what to do as the deadline of issuance of CAS get closer...

I kept the money there and haven't made a single transaction cos I can't make transactions in dollars nor can I transfer to any dom aside from my bank (first bank).

UBA doesn't approve Form A applications from s less than 3 months old. Please find alternatives to avoid wasting all the time.

Quick and important advice:

If you're coming this January and you don't have anywhere to stay, start now to search for accomodation against the time you intend to come. If you're going to use Airbnb, start now to search against your arrival date, since it's cheaper booking ahead. At least two weeks while you search for an apartment when you have arrived. Don't wait, book now!!!

It's easier now to get study visa than getting an apartment in the UK. Also ensure you have money to complete your enrolment. Some schools require 50% tuition fees before enrolment . And most schools are strict with enrolment deposit. In my school, students who didn't meet up with the enrolment and have arrived UK have been sent email that they will reported to UKVI in few days if the enrolment isn't done in 5 days. You don't want to be running around to meet enrolment deadline, while you still chasing apartment and you're spending money in hotel/hostel/Airbnb without no temporary source income. PLEASE, plan very well.

Some people who came this September are begining to feel depressed because of apartment and school enrolment issues. Also getting a part time job isn't difficult, but only a settled mind would have that courage to apply for those part-time jobs.

Although settling in may be a challenge, but it will definitely make it will surely get better and make sense.

Like I advised previously, for families, it would be better for main applicant to come first to secure apartment while dependents come in later. Except they have a sure place to stay.

My post is not to discourage anyone but to let us know the outlook of things now in the UK.

If you want to go with the angle that you need to start school then you would be applying for student visa and not dependent visa under your father.
So these are not same scenarios in my humble opinion
You were denied a child dependent visa because your mom didn’t apply and your dad is not with sole custody.
There is a lady I believe here that said she wont be going with her husband and would go with her kids, she did post a visa alert. Maybe find her and let your parents reach out to her dm to find out what extenuating circumstances she listed that ukvi let her go

Please I have a similar situation. My dependant kids were refused on the basis their Father has not applied nor does he have a valid visa.

Their Father did not apply with us because he had to repeat his TB test. Don’t know what to write in the istrative review.

Additionally, you can to the application portal to check on the progress of your application and carry out any further actions that may be required. It is not possible to give a time frame for an update at this time.

My fear now is Form A takes between 4-6weeks how will i meet up with January intake please

Yes, Put “u” in front of your student ID i.e. “u2245678” as name then as date of birth in this form: 12jun2022 meaning day month year. January becomes Jan. This worked for me.

I have this accommodation in Ipswich. Suitable for students coming into the University of Suffolk. Its pretty much booked this period but available for January.

Follow this advice, your friends won't tell you that truth o. Even part time jobs are not easy
