Greetings, I do not have any nursing qualification or experience but I intend to apply for 2 year M.Sc pre-registration adult nursing in the UK.

My question is at the end of my msc programme, what band will I start working with and can I use the qualification to practice in the us or canada.

I applied for nmcn online license verification early this month. Now checking the status of my application I discovered that *Parked* is written against the status.
Please who knows what this means?

If you can successfully work in UK with the preregistration MSc for some years then, you can also work in USA if you write your NCLEX and IELTS/TOEFL/OET.

Yeah I did and it worked out perfectly well! Thanks. Also I have paid for the verification since Thursday and it’s still saying “pending NMCN approval” Is there anything else I should do from my end or just to wait ?

Actually it’s my kid sis. She got the required score on her second attempt. Her study materials were from YouTube. I hope that helps. All the best!

Ok. Thanks for the response and the response you gave to others. You're helping to keep this thread alive. Do they assist in pre-nclex and transportation/ lodging for the nclex or is it for nclex ers? The visa wahala to South Africa is something else. Airfares to Philippines is on top of the roof.

They will only you. Getting to the venue and your accommodation/visa to the exam venue is your responsibility.

You will most likely start from band 5.

You could use it to practice in Canada(a few provinces), but CGFNS isn’t currently giving favourable response for USA license to the pre registration applicants. This may change in the near future as the shortage worsens.

Yes they offer service for i140. You have options for preferred state, but it is largely going to depend on your experience and where they have a need and an international nurse program at the time you arrive.

Hi guys, i'm new here. I'm currrently looking to migrate to the US from the Uk. I kniw the first thing to do is choose the state you want to apply to being that all the different Us state has their different nursing board
so i'd like to know. i want to with texas. Do i go to their Board oif nursing website to open an application with them first befoe starting an application with CGFNS??
if so can anyone please walk me through the application process on the website. how to take the Nursing Jurisprudence Examination(how to start an application for this) and also how i'm goin to send my finger print all the way from Uk there. i know i'm just starting and these are probably later things.
i will just really like to know if i should start an application with CGFNS first or go to texas board to start my apllication.

Yes . Nothing . Someone told me yesterday that it’s within 14days. Hopefully I get it by then. Waiting patiently. My port name is different from the RN certificate. Coz of marriage. Maybe that’s why the att is delayed . I hope that won’t affect it ?
