BALLISTIC MISSILE: North Korea fires ballistic missile over Japan, prompting evacuation order

North Korea launched a suspected intermediate-range ballistic missile over Japan, Japanese and South Korean officials said Tuesday. The missile, which was the first North Korean projectile to through Japanese airspace since 2017, landed in the Pacific Ocean.

The Japanese government issued a rare evacuation order Tuesday morning, urging residents in the Aomori and Hokkaido prefectures in the northern region to take shelter. Japanese officials said the missile flew outside of the country’s exclusive economic zone, but they warned about falling debris.

North Korea has tested an unprecedented number of missiles this year as it diversifies and expands its weapons arsenal, part of leader Kim Jong Un’s five-year plan. North Korea has conducted five rounds of ballistic missile tests since Sept. 24, ahead of Vice President Harris’s visit to the region last week.

In recent weeks, the U.S., Japanese and South Korean governments have all conducted military exercises designed to demonstrate the allies’ readiness to work together in the event of a conflict.

The latest launch came as the United States and South Korea wrap up their t military exercises involving the USS Ronald Reagan, a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.

On Tuesday, the U.S. and South Korean militaries conducted a precision bombing training against targets in the sea drills in response to the North Korean missile.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida convened a meeting of the National Security Council in response and condemned the launch. Japanese officials said they sent the strongest words of condemnation possible through diplomatic channels.

“The recent repeated launch of missiles is outrageous, and we strongly condemn this,” Kishida said.

USA backed by almost UN force battled the NK troops to a draw even when USA dropped more bombs in NK than I think .
NK bested so called most advanced countries to a draw that USA led generals want USA military to nuke China and NK but the USA president said NO due to fear of USSR which promised to nukes S/K if USA ever use nukes on NK and USA will lose of other nations.

Japanese have see what nukes can do and Japanese wouldn’t want that to happen again and the fact the a nuke attack by USA on NK will drag both Russia and China to all out war as Russia and China shared border with NK.
A nukes fallout on Russians or Chinese is not something USA want to see happen because of NK, just like a nuke fallout on Canada or Mexico will lead USA to attack whosoever is responsible with nuke.

Japan can’t shoot does missiles down due to 2 things
1. Maybe Japan and USA def system is so bad, that before they can launch the anti missiles, the NK missile already over Japan as its just less than 10 mins, I think

2. Shooting down the missile mean japan is at war with NK
