I've said it before... That Obj statement is nonsense.

Calculate what N100 (assuming everybody spends N100 for food every day) times 300 million persons times 400 years would be. That's N12 trillion. That's more than the entire national budget of of Nigeria from 1999-2007
That's also more than what Nigeria have gotten from crude oil sale during Obj's tenure.

I don't even understand why we still have census in 2022 when you can introduce social security number or NIN to count every soul that genuinely comes from this country.

@ 24 when i was a temporary staff at NNPC Zonal office we had among the soldier men one who after greeting him asked me about my family and kids of which i told him i was yet to have any child, with great surprise and anger the guy looked at me and asked my age of which i told him i was 24. He started insulting in i think Hausa language that i am not ashame that at my age i am still not married and without a child when i am suppose to be thinking of having a second wife. It took the mamas around to convince him that in this part of the country we really don't get married and bear children at such a age. The man went mad when i insisted i was still a small boy, he refuse to let go of me. Real life story! You see! Their way of life.

There are no States in the North with more than one urban center which is mostly in the State’s capital. Compare that to the number of States in the south with multiple urban areas and you’ll begin to understand what Mr. Aribisala is saying. They’ll tell you that the North is mostly polygamous because of their religion, so more wives more childbirths. But polygamy is not exclusive to the north, as almost everyone I know in this Lagos is as polygamous in nature as Mansa Musa including the faithfully married! Incidentally, the mortality rate in the North is way higher than the South due to the same religion/culture they allude to. So with a higher mortality rate, poor healthcare belief system & insecurity, is it ghosts that increase their population in that north every year?? With every advantage imaginable that has been given to the North politically since 1954, it is only their elite like local village witches that has been pressing their own people down!
