I would like the kind input of those who have experience with the express entry route on my matter.

I have worked as a freelancer/contract staff for an organization for about six years but sadly the number of hours I work weekly does not meet the IRCC 40 hours/week requirements for it to be eligible for express entry though it’s my main source of income at the moment. On the other hand, I have a business I ed in 2016 but it hasn’t been active for the past three years. Can I claim job experience from the inactive business as my primary NOC and add the contract job as a secondary NOC? I would appreciate other suggestions too, thanks.

Pls ooo my people, I want to ask a question. I was having a discussion with someone who was nominated by a particular province. According to her application, she mentioned a particular city in the province where her sponsor stays.

Now, the bone of contention is that she will not be staying in that city indicated in her application but another, however she will maintain same PNP province.

Is it right?

I told her she MUST stay compulsorily in the city and province indicated in her application but she is saying her sponsor said it is not mandatory she stays in the city, however it is a must she must reside in the nominating province.

How true is this?

I think it might be true of Manitoba MPNP especially if the person got nominated with a settlement plan to migrate to a region outside Winnipeg......but I may be wrong, the person should cross check with the Province to be certain.

Please read Page 1 FAQ 9... is the ITA from IRCC in the fortnightly draws? If it's from IRCC, then it means your sister's current CRS points must have been sufficient to get her the ITA........ no need to garner additional points (e.g. no ECA for spouse)...that is if she already has IRCC ITA.

IRCC didn't ask for 40hours per week. The requirement is 30 hours per week for full time and part time details are in this link from page 1. As well as other details on work experience.

I don't think anyone can tell you this truly. Application timelines range between weeks and years in some cases.

I believe spouses can send their ports to the nearest VFS to their current location if they are not in the same place, but what you are describing is that the spouse does not have their port and so is not able to send to any VFS at all yet. I don't know the answer, but you could:

1) try sending yours if you are PA and add an LOE to say spouse port is in another embassy and will be sent later, maybe add evidence to show port is really unavailable.
2) wait for spouse and send ports together when their own port comes back from the other embassy but you will need to ask IRCC for a PPR submission extension via webform or email...we all know webform responses are weeks/months late.

If it were me, I'd go with option 1

Could be heavy traffic, used to happen a lot I thought they have improved on it. Keep trying. Or use browser incognito

If it’s Manitoba, she needs to stay in the same city or town as her sponsor else she will ruin her sponsor’s chances of sponsoring another person and it might also come back to bite her in the butt most especially if she got the extra regional points. However, I don’t think it’s compulsory for Saskatchewan.

They can't issue you ppr on medicals that is expiring in 2 weeks time.

Pls to be on a safe side,do an upfront medicals,send it to them thru webform and to their emails..
Anyday,an officer touches ur file.if he doesnt see the updated medical information sheet,he will surely request for it.(then u already have it with you).

No visa office will stamp on a port,whose medicals will be expiring in a 2 weeks time(it is very difficult)

Hello guys, I have been struggling to sign into my express entry all day � I need to update my profile before tomorrow’s pool. It keeps saying error 403, invalid , redirecting, etc. I have cleared browser history, cleared cache, tried multiple browsers and devices. No luck. I can get halfway and it’ll all of a sudden log me out. Who else is experiencing this ? What other option do I have ?
