Why not? If they had the knowledge and technology for Abraham to impregnate her, it is not wrong. But we trust God who makes all things work for good and makes their story a lesson. Adoption is like someone buying an orange friut while Articifial insemination is like someone buying a seed of orange to plant in her farm.
Hence both adoption and articifial insemination have the same objectives.
However Articifial Insemination has the advantage of creating a bond between the mother and child and also preventing the child from been ridicule as an adopted child by the society.
