When the bible says men should not wear women's clothes and women should not wear men's clothes. What is the bible trying to point out.
Bcoz some people are saying it doesn't mean woman should not put on tros, but the bible is pointing hand at homosexual and lesbianism.

What exactly is women/men's clothing? Until that is defined, there's no definite answer cus both genders clothes are interwined.

It means men shouldn't put on women clothes and women shouldn't put on men's clothes. It doesn't mean women shouldn't put on tros women has there parttan of tros. There parttan are different from men's owns. Same likewise men too. Back in those days we don't have tros we only have garments for both male and female. But the sewing is different to differentiate between male and female. Same likewise tros. Stop contradicting yourself tro is not a sin to put on. All you should do is to dress responsible as a female. Africa with there religious something baffle me.

This is a clearly warning to those who have God consciousness. Even Islam forbid that too. It's only people with high sense of humor understand the rationale behind it.

I was thinking on this topic just this evening and here it is. Don't know if it is coincidence or fate because I was about logging out when I stumble on this topic.

Like the op observed. I had same answers to my thinking. I feel the Bible was referring to homosexuality, cross dressers etc. While thinking on it. I said to my self. During the time of the old and Jewish tradition, their men do wear garments and caps to the temple, same with their women (who most often don't even cover their hairs) to worship God. Now I asked myself, how do the know that which is feminine and masculine attire?.

This now brought me to the same answer someone had already posited. It is in the pattern of sewing. The way male clothes are sown is different from females clothes. The tailors in the house can buttress further; this is why we have specialty in sowing among tailors. I believe this suffices to say that wearing of tros which are feminine by a lady is not sin. I equally looked at the convenience and mindset of the person wearing such. If it is necessarily right, I think is not wrong.

Now, I had another issue with those skit markers especially the guys that dresses like women. Personally is offensive to me to watch, post or share such skits (don't know why). I believe they might be making mistakes all in the name of being funny.
