Mine was sent through lekki office lagos since 29/8/2022 and till now ...Its showing still processing at canad embassy ....

Suppose to resume by 12/9/2022

Its 3weeks now ...no update from vfs

Did you use the barcode tracking thing that was given to you? Did you pay transmission fee? Did you follow port specification? If you did all this then i’ll say relax, it will come soonish. Hard to do because of your resumption deadline but maybe ask for extension because you’ve gotten the PPR so its just delays for port return so actually makes sense that they would accommodate u less its a role that requires immediate physical presence.

Someone i submitted with on the same day 30/8/22 has picked up yesterday. Mine is still in transit (went to pick up today and they said e never reach lagos).

Pls ooo my people, I want to ask a question. I was having a discussion with someone who was nominated by a particular province. According to her application, she mentioned a particular city in the province where her sponsor stays.

Now, the bone of contention is that she will not be staying in that city indicated in her application but another, however she will maintain same PNP province.

Is it right?

I told her she MUST stay compulsorily in the city and province indicated in her application but she is saying her sponsor said it is not mandatory she stays in the city, however it is a must she must reside in the nominating province.

How true is this?

She doesn't need to stay in the city. She just needs to be in the province.

It's PPR baby. Here is a brief of my timeline.
The whole thought of PR came to my head Feb 2018 then my interest was in Australia PR, but found out that I was more qualified for canada PR, so I made the switch and the journey began.

ECA : June 2018
1st IELTS : Aug 2018
2nd IELTS : Oct 2018
EOI SINP : Jan 2019

SNIP Nomination: Dec 2019 was Rejected due to mismatch in Job and occupation.
After SNIP Rejected my application I decided to leave PR and get marry.
Told my wife about my whole PR dream and all, she keyed into it we both retook IELTS, and then I decided to go for a 1year MSc whilst, wife also had an Msc.

3rd IELTS : Jan 2020

Ist ITA : Jan 2020, I declined it as I wasn't ready.

2nd ITA: March 2020

AOR: May 2020

By Aug 2020 my application was refused because of PCC. I didnt give up, i immediately reapplied and fixed the initial mistake on the PCC.

3rd ITA : Aug 2020

Aor : Oct 2020

MED ed : Oct 2020

Long silence.

ReMed : April 2022

Addition of baby : April 2022

ADR 1: june 2022 (Schedule A, details of Govt service, POF, employment letter)

ADR 2: Sep 2022 (PCC)

PPR: sep 2022

All resources and knowledge was gotten from this forum to my application. And thus I would do my bit to people who have questions.

Greetings to all....

Pls, I would like to find out if at the port of entry (Canada), one will be asked about "proof that you have enough money to yourself during your stay in Canada" ? If yes, how can this be managed, if you don't intend travelling with much cash for security reasons....

Prompt responses will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Have your online banking app with funds to show what is not carried in cash. Print a recent bank statement to show at port of entry.

See if jumiapay may be doing this.

Best is to send money to a friend in the abroad.

The app I use is Lemonade.

Use this referral link for $30 when you send $100 (confirm with their customer if the promo is ongoing and is also valid for sending from Nigeria to Canada):
I use Lemonade Finance to send money to Africa. You get 30.00 CAD when you your and send over 100.00 CAD with my referral link - https://referral.lemonade.finance/invite/5XLU

Does it mean some of us who currently reside outside Nigeria would have to travell down to Nigeria to get pcc? Pls a little light on this

No. Before I came back to Nigeria I applied for the pcc on 26th sep 2019 I returned to Nigeria 29th sep 2019. So there is a missing period of 27th and 28th which automatically made the pcc invalid for the purpose of PR

Hello guys, I just received ADR to submit Schedule A, PCC and Medicals.

Could this be a sign of PPR being close?

Meanwhile, the last GCMS notes I received around Mar this year mentioned my medicals has been extended till next year but, this new medical request seemingly indicates that the extension was not correct or perhaps the agent did not go through the file thoroughly.
megastu(m): 6:57pm On Sep 23, 2022
you are close.

Take what is in the GCMS serious, no perhaps inside. Good luck.
