That's why Phyna's native name is Ijeoma. She even said it herself repeatedly on the show.

During their cultural wager, she just ed Chichi and Rachel cos she's from same state with her. She didn't sing along with them cos she doesn't understand anything they sung. Rachel was the main person singing sef. Chichi wasn't that fluent.

Edo State is just an artificial creation, a mere political expression. I'm Igbo before anything. States can end in dissolution but your ethnic group defines you to the very core.

Outside the core five Southeastern Igbo states, we have indigenous Igbos in Benue, Kogi, Edo, Rivers, Cross River, Delta and even Akwa Ibom.
