.These things are not black and white....the pcc is a requirement to ensure u dont have criminal record or ongoing investigation that may lead to conviction....cos they dont want criminals to work with their vulnerable clients

Some agency or employer may just want to cross all ts and dot all Is before they consider you at all...so it doesnt automatically mean u will get the job if they ask you for you pcc.... it may also mean the employer wants to hire you especially if you are applying from nigeria

its like when asking if you have right to work in the uk or indefinite leave to remain status.... doesnt mean u will get the job....they probably just want to know if they should consider you
