u cnt apply for skilled worker visa without a job offer and certificate of sponsorship from your employer.

Hello everyone,

I applied for the tier 4 student visa, I am the main applicant and my husband is my dependent. Today marks exactly 1 month/22 working days we did our biometrics and our application is still at the DMC.

On the 16th of August which was a day to the 15 days standard time they sent my husband an empty NSF email. Empty in the sense that they did not state what was needed or if they required any documents, they just said the application has not been straightforward and that they will reach out to ask if they need anything more from him.

We have since done several paid calls and emails, they escalated the application on Monday the 22nd and said it takes 15 working days for the team to respond to escalations. For the paid emails, they responded to mine by asking for our details which I sent and got radio silence for days now, then they responded to my husband’s own by saying the application is still awaiting a decision.

Someone that did same day as us already got their visa.

Please what can I do?

My flight is first week of September and I can’t afford for this delay to extend.

Please help if you know what I can do.

i dnt think so

U are not to buy flight tickets until u receive your decision so this can not be applicable in your defense.
It’s a risk that pays off for some and other times does not, hence the name- risk.
No matter the amount of paid calls and mails, when it will be resolved is when it will be resolved. U can only wait. Follow up anytime your escalations expire and hopefully it is resolved before u fly

My wife finished from NOUN and we are considering her going for MSc Pre-registration Nursing in UK since she studied business and entrepreneurship studies and not anything related to health.
Will she be itted?
Can I travel with her as a dependant? We have two babies.
She wants to become a nurse.
Again, the MSc pre-registration nursing in UK, is it well acceptable that she can get job placement easily after studies.

The next concern will be the switch from her first degree to nursing, that isn't my field I hope @Giselle237 can jump in on this one

For masters you should be able to her as a Dependant,the question is getting the ission

I wont be able to state her chances, the issions body with the universities are tasked with doing that. However check on naira land, browse through as people have posted their experience with getting pre registration nursing and see how they went about it. I know I have seen some, I am not able to their monikers so cnt be of much help.
Also she should have good reasons and adequate experience for such switch… business to nursing
