The Nigerian Bar Association, the apex decision making body of Lawyers in Nigeria is set to hold its annual conference at Lagos State. Among prominent Nigerians invited are Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party,Peter Obi. The APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu was conspicuously not invited to speak at the conference. Several school of thoughts opined that the reason why he was sidelined by NBA in it's annual conference is because he was fingered as one of masterminds of the Brutal Lekki Toll Gate Massacre that claimed the lives of vibrant young Nigerians who were protesting for the end of the dare-devil Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS). Former presidential spokesperson to Goodluck Jonathan, Mr Ruben Abati made this know in his social media handle.
