First off, Jack was thoroughly in of Elon buying Twitter. He was ousted off his Twitter CEO seat a few months ago. Plus he's a Musk's quasi bro.

Secondly, Musk waived over his due diligence rights when he signed and submitted his buyout proposal. You would know if you read or asked what the content of that document was.

Foolish Musk basically chided Twitter's board with what he'd thought was a low ball offer that they'd reject.

Unfortunately for him the stock market crashed and tech stock including Twitter and his Golden goose, Tesla, crashed.

If the deal proceeded he'd be effectively dashing Twitter in excess of 10 billion USD for a non-profitable social media platform plagued with bots.

Now he wants to weasel his way out of the deal forgetting the binding contract he signed.

Unfortunately for him, the current market (with Twitter shares trading at sub $35 prices) made it a no brainer for Twitter's board to accept Musk's proposal - when he submitted his bid Twitter shares were upwards of $50 a piece.

They're gonna drag his sorry ass through court. At the very least he gets to pay the $1 billion dollar breakup fee contained in the contract.
And that's assuming his lawyers pull off something magical in court.

Right now all odds are stacked against him to cough out the $45 or so billion. And like the typical petulant manchild that he is, he's turned to posting memes on Twitter to rally brainless mofos like you.
