UKVI has just replied me that

Dear ..............., Thank you for your query from the information you have provided, we have escalated your case to the relevant department on **17-06-2022** and you should be ed within 15 working days. Please wait until the 15 working days have ed before ing the service again as we are unable to do anything further before this time. We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents.

Please i need to be guided. based the above response to my paid mail. I sent a follow up on the 15th working day and got a response with like a form asking me to supply my details such as name, port number GWF number and so on to enable them determine if my correct details was received by UKVI.

my biometric date was 15th March 2022 at Abuja TLS

Visa type is visitor visa.

after 17 weeks without decision, upon my submission of the details they requested. I got a response that my case has been escalated to relevant department.

Has anyone had a case like this before? I am absolutely worried. If only i had my port with me.

Sure, I’ve got all that. Though I don’t have up to 2m in just one . But combining all my bank s can give more than that amount.
Is tax clearance necessary or is it optional to provide?
By the way, I even thought I may not need to show all those again since I’ve applied before (10 years ago)

Yea tax clearance..... getting clearer now....combine the with least money to the large one and make sure the name on ur bank matches that on ur port.... and wait for at least a moth to get the bank statement for application....... you may not need to worry abt salary if u have tax clErance and ed company

Alright, thank you very much. My bank statements from January till the end of July should be sufficient, no? I plan on going to TLS in early August.

Also, the CAC document alone can stand as my proof of owning a ed company, right?

My brother in the UK was supposed to Sponsor this refused application but we had some Family misunderstanding during the period I was applying and so I decide to Sponsor myself.

We have now sort out our Family misunderstanding and he will be Sponsoring me on my new application. I am planning to Spend 10days during my tourism trip, 2 Days in Manchester to see my brother and stays at his place and 8 Days in London for Tourism and staying in an hotel.

My brother is willing to Sponsor me with £1550. I would also like to include an amount to the expense from my part.

Please guys my question is how much can I add from my side due to my Financial situation stated in the refusal attached?

The ECO wants you to have travel history.. dunno why… maybe try visiting somewhere else first.
Also from the way he/she refused the visa looks like they just didnt believe the intention of you being a genuine visitor.
Also is bothered about you spending two times of your disposable income ontop holiday.. na wa sha
I do not think after this refusal, it will now make sense for your brother to sponsor your trip.
If you insist on going back at this time, they will bring up something else.

No. If you read this thread you’ll see refusal letters with several problms from ECO.. company is not actively trading, not seen on cac website as active, no way to determine profits etc .. CAC document is just a tip.

This is just sheer refusal without any reason.very unfair. THey just don’t want u to come to the UK as the first country from ur fatherland. It’s a critical time applying to the U.K. just for tourism at this time. Why not an open day instead.


Look for an open day letter from University of Hull, Leeds, Glasgow Caledonian or any other and apply for that ......(next open day is in September and October)....rather than visiting Just for tourism. I believe getting a conditional offer from the University as part of ur document is apt too

Thanks for your input. She is an adult and has been living with us for 3 years plus. Typical nigerian job issues. I'd really hate to leave her behind while we are on holz. How best do you think i can secure her a visa?
None of us have travelled before.

Not sure how much time you have before the holiday but if you still have a lot of time, my advise is that you apply for you and your wife first then send in her application as soon as your visa comes out.

I've been on a trip with my Mom before and this was what we did.

Net to bank is usually around 400k monthly. Monthly Expense is around 200k-300k. I do have around 700k in monthly coop savings deducted at source(reflect on payslip but never hits my bank)

With this amount, just take my advise. Apply for you and your wife first and from my skeletal calculation, you'll need about N1.5m in your for you and your wife.

Also, ensure you state a minimum of 5 days stay so your hotel booking can be cheaper ( it can be more if you have more in your savings for the trip but I always advise 5 days stay even for 2 years visa)

Lastly, please include a travel itinerary and a cost breakdown that matches the money in your .

Did you mention your brother in your application when asked if you know anybody in the UK?

Thanks for responding. I mean is it a bad option if she applies on her own without being invited. My sister is not financially stable to sponsor her as she just moved to the UK

Let your tier 2 VISA sister invite. It's still a visiting/tourist visa she will be given either way

The ECO is a preacher of love and doesn't fight and abandonment. You were avoiding your family both home and away for no concrete Reason (last sentence in the second point raised).

Keep the money coming from your pocket much lesser to the disposable income flagged previously (2month). My Advise. And address your previous refusal diligently since you have both reconciled and he's ready to show you family love and to your travel through (how you Stated). They point out travel history when they weigh your ties and it's much not convincing, how you choose to demonstrate why visiting the UK other than other countries is much needed, as I know it's important to reunite with a long time seen family if that's tangible sha. Else another refusal with different grammar .

In addition, prove of relationship too is needed. E.g childhood and recent pictures together, birth certificates having your parents names if possible.

Then you can get ing documents from him as your sponsor though you will still submit your bank statement, payslips… basically all the documents you submitted before, those documents will serve as your ties to Nigeria.

Your brother needs to send you his bank statement, evidence of accommodation, data page of his port and invitation letter
