Note that this money was transferred in error and was not a scam operation, clearly an error from the other end, yet Ecobank froze my so much so that I couldn't withdraw my own money. If Ecobank can do that, why can't access? I bank with two banks today, but ecobank is still number one due to this factor. .

How is this different from what I said? I mentioned that they have done what they can by "freezing" the . They could have taken the easy route by transferring the money back to the customer, but it does not work like that. Isn't that what I said?

I am sure I didn't mention that my was frozen for 6 months plus and a refund not initiated. The freezing was for less than a week and the money was refunded to the rightful owner.


Okay, do you mind telling me how it works? What I know is that in a case like this, the victim is asked to provide legal documents to prove that there was a scam. In this case, the victim provided all these and even screenshotted chats showing the scammer agreeing to the crime. What else needs to be done?
